Is a PGO TR3 - 150 allowed to be ridden into Malaysia? Any problem to pass through Singapore and Malaysia Custom road that built for bike only? Thanks for the sharing...

 

Hi, Yes. PGO TR3-150 is allowed to be ridden into Malaysia. 1st link better to use car lane, SG side is abit narrower, car lane is allowed for the TR3-150 & IME 150. 2nd link bike or car lanes no problem passing thru.

Btw, PGO TR3-150 is an older model, the latest model is I ME 150 Wel Bike.

Hi Alvin, thank you very much for your reply. If we use car lane, will we need to pay for the toll fee in the car lane? I guess we need to , am I right?

 

On the other hand, roughly how much is the maintenance cost for this bike for 1 year? I heard that Piaggio MP3 will need to change the CTV belt(Transmission Belt) every 15000km and it will cost about SGD300 each time. Tyre will cost SGD120 each and I believe it will last only 1 year each. Is PGO IME 150 bike maintenance about the same or cheaper? Any other cost will be involved and need to take note? I am a Honda Wave rider, basically this Honda Wave is very low in maintenance, other than changing engine oil, not much need to be maintenance and parts are freely available in all workshops across Singapore and Malaysia. Is this PGO IME 150 bike freely obtainable in all the bike shops in Singapore?

I think this one take corner will have to slow down, most corners will have to turn wide to allow for rear wheel clearance

Small bike but cannot squeeze between lanes to get to the front so most times will be left lane travel

Other than that, it should be very easy to get used to, if you don't mind the occasional scratch

I have the bike and I'm able to squeeze right to the front at the lights. I can even do lane splitting. Yes you must slow down when turning. Not a scratch. Top speed is about 100. I do not always ride on the left lane. It's really stable in the rain.
