Which waterproof armour jacket has/given u alot of air-flow,during regular days(rides)?

Like normal riding,as i know that some people uses waterproof jacket rather than mesh/textile jacket.

From what i know is that some has 'zip/opening' that allows air-flow to enter,at the front of the jacket, and a opening at the back to allow ventilation.

Any recommendations ?

and Thx for viewing! :cheeky:

You can go Motoworld to check it out, though they are not cheap. Think you need to fork out at least $400 for these jackets, think other brands will be more expensive.

All waterproof jackets are hot. All of them will leak sooner rather than later. All of them will be wet after rain, which makes it a ***** to manage.

Just buy a really big and cheap raincoat and wear over a mesh jacket when required.

Past: KDX200, LC4 400, LC4 620, GSXR750WR

Present: CBR900RRY, Gas Gas EC250, XR250L, XR250RV, XR400 (motard-ed), NX650 Dominator

I went to Motoworld to ask for recommendations for Waterproof jacket 2 weeks ago. They mentioned it would costs $300-$400.

In the end, I placed order for the Spiritleathers textile jackets from the CMO section. You might want to take a look? Viewing & testing of size would be done at Simei.

Agreed 100%, or maybe even 200% with the part underlined :cheeky:

To put it simply : If the outer shell is 100% waterproof, the jacket will be too hot for our climate. If it uses a waterproof liner, like goretex etc, the outer shell will absorb some water and you will need to ensure it dries properly every time or it may start to smell.

Get a decent mesh jacket and a compact raincoat you can store in your bike.

I'm using the Alpinestars Royal Drystar. As mentioned, it is hot. But I haven't had any problems with the leakage during rains
