Would like to ask for opinions here,

I'm 1.78m 83kg and only have 2b license

i've looked and found the yamaha FZ16 and R15 rather attractive but will it be looking weird if i were to ride it?

Its like the bike is so small and im quite big size.

And i went to yamaha's website to see the specs for the fz16 and i come across the FZS, i looked thru both bikes specs its the same, so does anyone know the difference between these two bikes?

Cheers (:

Agree. Save for 2a. Or save for cls2. Below can get 2nd hand though it may be risky.

As for look weird, if u worry about looks then maybe dun get sport bike? U will surely look bigger than e bike for 2b. Even 2a sport also not tat big in size. :)

Can consider phantom where ur legs can stretch out. Or those 2b (i think is 2b) adventure type. Or scramblers.

Total agree.

Bro, I am 1.8m and 100KG. I guess Phantom is the best choice.

Maybe some other cruiser as well.

But as of I know, Phan is one of the cheapest maintenance.

If I were you, I will buy a used cheap 2B bike & Save the $ for 2A.

Just my 2 cents.

To ride on the road, You need skills,Stamina, or even luck.

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment, and adjust yourself to its rhythm.

Cultivate the confidence to face the different situations. Don't let yourself to be subdued by the environment :thumb:

I think the FZ16ST looks big enough, with its half fairing.

Phantoms are good, but getting rarer nowadays.

One suggestion:

Why not consider the honda tiger? It's 200cc, same engine as phantom. Boon Siew is importing it, so parts shouldn't be a problem.

I consider it as the ideal 2b bike. front and rear disc brakes. Big-enough rear tyre. Kickstarter present in case e-start fails. 200cc.

Actually I kinda agree that if you are planning to upgrade in the future.. You should get a used bike.. I'm been getting a used bike since riding 5 years ago and hadn't encounter much problem except the wear and tear with will not be present with a new bike.nother then that nothing much.. Will save quite a substantial amount of money..
