Guys,as i received only 1 key, can the key be duplicate? Coz im afraid to lose the only key..

Whats the size of Our bike,bike cover?

I intend to service my bike in my usual shop..Will it void the warranty?

Havent really test the machine bro.. Just a ride back home coz my wife and kids are waiting at home getting ready for Hari Raya visiting.. Received a normal helmet and a good looking rain jacket but have to wait for weeks or even months for the box becoz the rack is still not available... I would agree that the ride was a smooth one..

 

I am also awaiting the rack brackets to arrive, maybe we can install together at Mah when it arrives, lol

Same here, 1 key only, our keys comes with transponder, so if you wan to duplicate, have to get Mah to program using the Master Key, they do not have stock for the transponder key blank yet, but i did call up ai de hua, they do have stock of the Nexus key blank, which is essentialy identical, cost $30. Just need to buy and get Mah to program it, check with them again for more details.

 

For me, i did a spare normal key(No transponder) for $5, this can only use to unlock handle, open seat, but cannot start bike.

I will wait for the bike to be fully paid up and get back the Master Key.

 

Was told to do oil change at 1000km, in Mah, and at the same time report any warranty defects or problems etc.

After that, check with them, how not to void the warranty, they are the ones who provide the coverage, so best to ask them.

Funny, nexus comes with 2 key. Maybe one key the bike shop keep?

 

The last time i know, the shop just beside Lim Ah Boy can provide cut and programme the key(key with chip included of course) at $40 if i remember correctly. Tell the uncle that it's actually the same scoot as gilera nexus and he should know what to do.

Wah u really did a lot of research ah bro..They gave me the red key instead of the black one..im not sure which is the master..

Yes its the same, came with 2 keys, but 1 key kept by bike shop/finance.

 

You are right, the locksmith beside LAB & Regina, that's where i did my normal key, but they only tell me they can do the Transponder Key at $40, after they completed my normal key duplication with them :faint:

Friends,jus did the key dulplication @$40.. Jus cant live with only jus a key coz i love to misplace my previous keys..So far my ride is a smooth one but one thing i dislike will be the opening of the seat coz have to really squeeze the key hard to the left..

Hey guys.. do you think the fuel gauge indicator is abit wonky? When mine was 1 bar above half, sometimes it will read empty.. sometimes it will be normal.. sometimes the low petrol indicator comes on. It can change alot in one journey.

My low fuel indicator (Yellow light) does come on/off upon reaching the last 1- 2 bars on the fuel indicator.

This happens when the bike comes to a stop, or during move off when the fuel is low.

 

This goes on till the bike is really low on fuel, and Fuel Indicator is on the last bar, and Low Fuel indicator (Yellow Light) will be permanently On.

Yours sound normal to me. Mine keeps changing, like a jackpot. Even when I'm at half tank. :(

Hi all,

 

Just an update that I have went for my first servicing, and my mech used a 15w50 oil (I didn't note the brand). So far my fuel consumption before my servicing is averaging out to around 29 KM/L. I'll continue to monitor and see if there are any changes.

 

Also, below are the steps to "remove" the flashing spanner icon to remind you that servicing is due. Credit goes to Ayunzz28 for finding the information from a Malaysian website and translating it to English.

 

1) While the bike is turned off. Press and hold [MODE] and [ODO/SET] button at the same time with one hand.

 

2) While one hand is still on both buttons, turn the key to ON with the other hand till the display comes out spanner and belting icon blinking at the same time then only you let go of both the buttons.

 

3) Next press [MODE] to choose between the spanner and belt icons. When only spanner appears press and hold the MODE button till the spanner disappears.

 

4) Turn off the ignition and you are done.
