Hahahah..Actually i wanted to take the white but due to i dun have much time to spare a tot for my previous other bikes my wife suggest that i jus take the red black..so i dun have to really clean the bike...

What kind of accessories you looking for?

hell contacted, my probles are

 

-screeching sound when braking

-headlight foggy when light switched on

-exhauset clip out of position thus making lot of noise.

-vibrations

Common problems when new with nexus 300 are...

 

1. When moving off the scoot will jerk jerk jerk while moving off until pick up speed.

- something to do with clutch engagement like half clutch. Service the clutch pads ok already.

 

2. Head lamp have white residue, water, vapor, foggy.

- the sealing of the headlamp is crap, the water can get in during washing/raining. you can rinse over the gaps above the headlamp and you may see water collecting at the bottom of the headlamp. Resealing is necessary. Don't think they replace you a new one.

 

3. If you drop your scoot on the side, engine oil will leak out from the airbox. Please check engine oil after a drop, the engine oil will be lesser.

 

4. Please check for crack lines on front and rear rotor, i do not know if it is normal. Haven't heard of a cracked disc while braking.

 

That are just some things i observe from nexus, hopefully things have improved.

 

It's a great scoot, this are just some points to take note of.

I have contacted a few local distributors to enquireon the available options for street-legal exhaust for this, but i think this will take a while.

 

Was also wondering did the Gilera Nexus 300 had any street-legal exhaust option being done here?

 

As for open-pod filter, i think it should be similar to the runner, not sure of the diameter size, maybe can visit those few scooter specialists shops to enquire.

Ya, I guess so. It was designed with light touring in mind.

 

Anyway do pump your tires, I only pumped yesterday after having the bike for around 3 weeks. Heh, from 16x to 230... woo.

Collected my bike earlier..Yeeehaaaaa...

Found dat the bike is too small for my humongous size and weight..

But nevertheless im still happy with the looks and the first ride impression of the bike..

Havent really test the machine bro.. Just a ride back home coz my wife and kids are waiting at home getting ready for Hari Raya visiting.. Received a normal helmet and a good looking rain jacket but have to wait for weeks or even months for the box becoz the rack is still not available... I would agree that the ride was a smooth one..
