How do you ride with only the right mirror? Do you only ride on the left lane?

Does having only 1 mirror improves your bike's aerodynamics and somehow makes you fly faster?

Please for safety's sake, put back that left mirror.

of course they don't sell left mirror alone.

they sell it as a pair.

and i believe that's a spark t135 in your avatar? if that's your bike, i don't believe that they don't sell mirrors for it.

and i don't understand this

last jan, tp caught me for not having both mirror, due to accident. but he only mentioned, get a right side mirror.

maybe im new, pardon me but vehicles are usually faster on the right side. thus when u'r on the right side, and wan to cut into the left lane.. juz check blind spot and change lane.. right ?

nO WOrries corny , to each his own !

anyway since day one of riding , my bike doesnt have any mirror , except for a small one , which cant see sh*t .... when ever i move left or right , i will check my blind spot. .... so far no problem /........ anyway some my friends think im crazy to ride without mirror .... but i just feel more comfortable riding without one ... makes me force myself to check blindspot , now i got a good habit of checking blind spot , for every turn or move.

and when a car is tailgating you without his lights on, you won't know it.

and when TP is approaching frm the back and you're over the speed limits, you won't know it.

lots of other reasons la.. but like you said, to each his own.

cheers.

actually this is more of LTA part.. but however i dont think u would want to compromise on your own safety. right? TP are there to tell you that is dangerous to ride without a left mirror.. so you only over take people from the left and also lane change to the left only?? cause u only got your right mirror wad..

Hmm.. maybe u feel more comfortable without mirrors... to most or us, we hav to move close to those without"mirrors" bikers to overtake them...

Simple Reason... they don know what is behind them even we HIGH beam also Useless... n hav to move to their side to let them know a Bike is overtaking them.

I Have come across so many times when i am going to overtaking them, they shift to my Lane... :giddy:

When u check blind spot...make sure the Car infront don Jam E Brake :goodluck:

Mate, checking blind spot and knowing what's behind you are 2 very different but equally important things.

Without mirrors, you have no clue of all happenings behind. You won't know if someone is accelerating to overtake, you won't know if someone in a hurry is tailgating you, and you won't know it if someone decides to tail you through a traffic junction. I especially hate it when overtaking some MotoGP look wannabe and the joker decides to do a lane change.

I ride with both mirrors, and also check blindspot religiously. Somehow I find the excuse that it forces one to check blindspot in the absence of mirrors very lame. Checking blindspot is part of good riding habits, and should be done with or without mirrors.

And no, I disagree that this mirror debate is a "to each his own" issue. All road users have a responsibility towards each other, and if 1 day I get hit by a mirror-less bike while overtaking, I will ensure that fella gets sued till his pants drop.

What I feel pals is that when something is put on a bike and there is a law behind it, it definitely has it's uses... So pls for the safety of you and others, put back the mirrors soon and use them frequently... One mirrorless wave made me do an evasive manoevre last week when I am overtaking...

It is better to keep quiet and remain a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubts...
