Hey, not purposely beat red arrow. With green light.

I'm 2B probation plate rider, and my daily ride rarely consist of a red arrow with green light traffic junction when i ride from home to sch/work, but mins ago decide to go AYE run a few round.. on the way back quite tired already and want to reach home faster, somemore as i said rarely encountered green traffic with red arrow before.. so forgot the rules, moment see green light.. straight away throttle up move to center of junction then nvr look at the color of the lights le. The entire traffic junction only another car using as it was late 12am+ to prepare to turn right. The car was moving straight, so I give way to him, then the moment he moves off from my view i throttle up immediately to turn right, got closer to the traffic light as i turn then then realise theres a red arrow beside the traffic light..

Went back the traffic junction check, realise there is indeed a camera facing the back of my bike when I turns right. GONE CASE ALREADY? MY 13 pts. :cheeky:

3 more months 24 pts already.. BTW as the camera is facing the back of my bike, I could not see if there is a flash or not coming out of it. All I know was the spilt second i saw the red arrow as i do the right turn.. my mind is like OMGWTF!!!! and i donno any other thing about flash or whatsoever.. as im too busy focused on the red arrow

so what will happen to me now..

At nite, no flash = no pics taken. Anyway the camera was not tripped because green was ON for straight going traffic. If there's a flash you won't missed it.

But dude u need to be vigilant on the road.

The camera face my back, so i really donno because im busy tinking of red arrow.. and im very tired. is it suppose to be so bright until all my surrounding environment ahead of me flashes? i dont think its possible to stay 100% vigilant at all times tho everyone can tell everyone to do so. at some point sure too tired then midjudge a lil. but im 200% awake when i saw the red arrow, tho abit too late..

But there is definitely a camera facing directly the backside of my bike.. it is from the opposite traffic direction, for instance if i were to turn left, the road divider of the road.

so what will happen to me now..? what can they do to me? 12pts? fines? can i appeal and say that the traffic light was too far away not easy to notice?? or any idea out? How long will it take for them to send me the letter (Also means how long do i need to wait to confirm im not snapped..)

and is the flash white colour or yellow colour? because theres many yellow lamp post and the road is actually quite properly lighted even tho its nite, hence may not notice camera flash?

The flash is very obvious one espeically at night. It more like a white flash, much like those flash light from the camera but much brighter. Very hard to miss. And from the senario you mentioned, I would say you are safe. Due to some limitation, it will only start capturing red lights dasher when it has completely turn red including the arrow. If it is green lights with red arrow, it will not work.

don't worry too much. should be fine unless some random guy with camera decides to send the footage to tp but i doubt they also bother to do anything.

anyway important thing is no one is hurt, an honest mistake yes? just be more aware when turning right then should be fine :)
