Slowly. Everyday 1 episode. I started watching One Piece during my final year of uni and managed to finish up to where Kaizoku Fansubs were. That was in 2004. If you follow other fansubs and try to reach over 500+ episodes, all the best. You better clear leave and spend it in front of the screen. Even then, that might not be enough......

the other day i was in KL, i came across this shop that sells comicss... soo freaking cheaper then sg...

 

chuang yi sells S$5.50/vol

taiwan version: about S$10.90/vol

 

i brought 12 vol(full series) @ RM4.50 each... it's like about S$1.85 per vol...

I've seen some of those Malaysia's self printed comics. I doubted they have the proper copyright, hence I can understand why it's cheap.

 

Singapore's Chuang Yi kanna sued one big time by Japan last time - they bought their copyright from Taiwan, not from Japan. Almost crash the company. That's why now we are getting "yellow" pages comic instead of clear white.

 

Singapore also sells Taiwan comics more ex than in Taiwan. For example, a NT80 comic, converted to Singapore is around $3.50. Here is Singapore we are getting it for $7 and above, usually I got it at $8. Shipping fees, profit margin, you name it, it's all business.

 

Malaysia sells Taiwan comics also cheaper than Singapore, but still more ex than in Taiwan.

You haven't seen the price of Tokyopop in USD yet. Which part of KL did you get your comics from? I'll be going there next week for KL Bike Week. Thank you

petaling street not the middle of petaling(chi chong gai)... erm... along the shop houses near KFC.. when u step the shop they sells many novels and guitar, gonna walk slightly further in..

but the shop dont sell many titles.. i suggest to get those in full series... cos i afraid that the comic pages might be a little different if i were to continue the stories by purchasing in sg.

 

FYI not all the titles comes in white pages. Just that the ones i purchase happen to be in white. all of them are in RM4.50

 

there's another shop that the sales gal recommended and mention that they have more titles. I didnt go there cos i afraid that my luggage over weight. ^^ u know... gals temptation is hard to resist.. hahaa

I love anime too. Anything as long as its anime. But i got only few collections now, before i used to collect cards, posters and specially some drawings made by me. But they are all gone now, but till now im still enjoying every time i watch anime.

 

 

But my favorite are:

samurai X

yuyu hakushi

hunter x hunter

naruto and bleach.

Samurai X is wonderful, but it would be much nicer if Kenshin retained his Battousai Character instead of adopting his "Non-killing policy" after taking up the Sakabatou. In my opinion, Saitou would have been killed in their rematch if Kenshin had used a regular Katana instead of the Sakabatou. Samurai Deeper Kyo also not bad.

i c. Pity that place is a bit far from KLCC and Bukit Bintang where I had to do my shopping. I was staying at Grand Seasons Hotel, Jln Pahang, near Chow Kit monorail. That was very far to walk there.....
