Hi, any reccomendations on ipone chain lube?

 

There are a few type but on the can, it writes a very brief review on them.

 

I used to smirk at the brand because it sounds like iphone but im open to it because it cost like $22 for a 750ml can!

 

Any reviews on which 1 to get?

 

Bike is a gsxr 1000.

I bought ipone chain cleaner. $24. It keeps the job done. Slightly less messier compare to using kerosine.

I use ipone sand chain. Very easy to apply, and it lasts. Once, i went through a road beside construction site, kena a lot of sand. Just take hose and zua the water at the chain with some pressure, the sand washed off, but the lub can see it's still there. Of course, being kiasu/si i applied again.

Dupont and Sand Chain i saw before in Hup Hin at Alexandra.

 

Racewerkz at Alexandra sells Sand Chain as well, not sure about Dupont cos i haven't explore there. Maybe next time!

Hello, back from a long trip and i can say i recommend sand chain spray.

Paid 24$ for a 750ml can at rosli autobay.

 

Previous user from dupont chain saver, maxima chain wax and others not worth mentioning.

Is it. Always thought maxima chain wax really good already, buy from hup hin, 20 a can. Wanted to try DuPont but cannot fine.

 

EO I heard smells nice and ester based stuff are good. Full syn is like 26 a bottle.

Sand chain is good. For all bikes, not just dirt bikes.

Makes sand and gunk on your chain easy to rinse off.

maxima chain wax gunk too much for me.

It also needs to warm up.

and if u ride by barriers, you can hear the sound of your chain not so smooth.

sand chain .. i applied on it for 3 month and can see the lube is still there ..

Its really not nice to leave a thread hanging with so much nice feedbacks from people.

 

So here is my verdict. Sand chain is great. 0 sand adheration Like seriously. So no sand grinding paste like maxima chain wax. Does not fling but will be good if you allow some time for the solvent to evaporate. Awesome penetrator and protector and lasts.

 

Only complain is that fine dust and dirt sticks to it. I dislike it because my chain wont be so shiny after a while. But it is easy to clean using kerosene or wd-40 like products. I use Double TT spray from tetrosyl which is half the price of WD-40.

 

I really Love to try the CHAIN Spray.(please note.. Its a white coloured spray similar to belray)

 

Btw, please support racewerks because they are willing to spray some for you as sample to feel and give a patient and nice explanation.

I have changed to Belray Super Clean. $28 for 400ml and $18 for 185ML

 

Ipone is $24 sand chain and $20 Spray chain. Both in 750ML bottles.

 

My review for Belray Super Clean is that it offers superior protection to the sideplates. For the other parts, it coats an awesome environment repellant "wax type" barrier. Its super clean and ultimately no fling off. However!!!! It doesnt lubricate as well.
