i reali hated the pairing process for blue tooth sets so going for the wired ones.

Same here, but can't say aI hated it. Tried but not satisfied with it. I just installed the wired-type (Starcom1. Advance), tried on the PIE at 120kmph. With my Nolan103 Flip-up helmet, it was fantastic. My pillion could hear me clearly, and I just set the system to normal setting only. She was wearing fullface (HJC) without the chin & nose guard. Eventhough I could hear the wind hissing through underneath her chin into the mic (she forgot to place the chin & nose guard before we set off), yet I could still hear every sentence she said with the wind blasting at the background. I guess the VOX system really works, it helps to cutt-off background noises once you start talking into the mic. It's great.

I still use my bluetooth communicator for my other helmet for my daily rides in S'pore.

I bought thru ebay from U.K. The exchange rate was abit higher then general rates. I bought the main unit + additional accessories, plus shipping, total about sgd500+. The main unit itself comes with standard accessories which is a complete set. But I need the extension cable & water-proof sockets, so those are the additional accessory.
