Road Tax Issue

I've A Problem. I tried Renewing My Road Tax In Oct 2006 when It Expired. However I Was Told To Go To LTA. It Seems That My Previous Owner Has A Warrant Of Arrest. So I Can't Renew.

 

The Problem Is I Can't Contact The Previous Owner. And LTA Doesn't Give A sh*t. What Should I Do. I'm Currently Riding Without Road Tax But I Have A Valid Insurance Cover

 

Can i Sell The Bike? I Still would need the owner to come down right?

I Just Don't Kno What To Do. If Any Of You Guys Have Been In My Shoes. Please tell Me What To Do and ho much is the penalty.

 

LTA Wasn't Helpful But Instead They Were Rude To Me.

LTA is like tat. esp when they are busy. they thought we are giving excuses.

 

the best is go back LTA, request to see a senior officer who can offer his help. if he cant, den report him.

from wat u say i assume the bike is nw under ur ownership .. and it shld nt hav any problem .. did u went for inspection (onli for yearly so if u buy 1/2yr road tax n wan to xtend again can miss tis step) b4 u renew ur roadtax ??

 

and i tink u got to pay a penalty for the late of renewing ur road tax bah ..

 

to ask from help from LTA go dwn to any branches nearer to u and ask their customer service personal for help ..

First and foremost are you the registered owner, if not LTA had a case. If you are the registered owner they have no right to stop you from renewing your roadtax. The warrant or whatever commited by the previous owner, on your part has the bike been transfered to you?

i tinkhe is d subrider.. best is u dun ride it. no road tax can kena summon wan.. its like equivalent to no insurance

nope u dun hav to display .. but when road blk the officer ask u .. u jus got to show them ur road tax like insurance that it is a must to be wif u ..

i dun tink is summon i tink is revoke license .. cau his road tax expire so long liao ..
