it sounded so familiar!!!!! i got that prob b4!!! i kick start until my leg ORH CHEH! then lucky got an unknown stranger riding RVF help me push my bike..

 

hmmz many reasons..

 

1st: your fuel switch (below your seat/tank on the left side).. see whether its off or on?

2nd: your battery.. is it normal (see the neutral light its ON means its ok got battery liaoz)

3rd: your valve/ignition fuse. (its located at the farring right hand side.) its a 10AMP fuse.. total there is 4 pieces of 10AMP fuse and 2 pieces of 20AMP fuse. on of the fuse is the one the one which ignites ur kick start.

 

 

correct me if i am wrong... but i got this prob b4.. mine problem is actually the 1st one.. and then.. 2nd one... and then 3rd one...

i will learn more if i find more things... that its not right and making it right..

 

hmmm... mine is definately not first 2.. cos my fuel i turn to on.. then i can see the neutral light.. but i dunno how to see the fuse thingy...

 

Hmm, did u all have the habit of turning ur fuel tap on when u park ur bike liao?

mine turns out to be engine cut off switch spoilt. hahaha

everytime if i stop engine using the switch.. i have difficulties starting..

then if i park and i leave the switch at run... much easier to start...

so how to solve this problem?

 

it's best not to throttle at all when u kickstart otherwise there is prob w ur bike liaoz. normal healthy SP can kick at most 3times n starts w/o throttling.. if needa throttle.. better hav it checked.

 

if cannot start.. mayb ur spark plug? batt? carb flooded? if kick more than 5times can't start.. of ur switch n let it rest awhile b4 trying, this is the 1st way.

 

2nd way is to off the switch n throttle fully n juz keep kicking. it's to let the petrol in ur carb to clear off. aft kicking like 10times.. try switch on ur engine

n start kicking..

normally u kick a few time still dun start. off fuel tap, off ur switch. take a cigg smoke. after that try again. most probably ur carb overflow. either that u spark plug lor. Btw, it happen ytd? today ok liao mah?

 

Yes some people might go sit on ur bike and open ur trottle. it overflow ur carb not ur engine bah. best is to turn off ur fuel tap lo.

 

open abit of trottle had turn out to be a habit. If really u dun wan to open trottle, then jus use choke. with the help of the choke, then dun need trottle also can start liao.

buy your LED's from Sim Lim Tower.. Cost depends on its brightness.. super bright $5/LED

 

more brigther = more expensive... lol remember to buy resistor..! lol

Sim Lim TOWER la..An advice is that you must have at least abit of knowledge on electronic stuff..Electronic stuff deals with really low level of current/voltage..

2nd Day... Come back.. let them see... i put back original mudguard.. (bought from ah boy $20 bucks/$10 workmanship)..

 

 

thenz.. i go LTA renew road tax...

 

then to my horror..

 

my insurance..

 

 

is up to 5th April 2008! my road tax ends on 12 April 2008.. LTA officer ask me go extend my insurance..

 

went to bike shop... extend my insurance... actually price is $10 bucks..

 

but they say.. insurance policy if they issue insurance minimum charges is $30 bucks!

 

ok ok.. i paid..

 

then went back Vicom to renew road tax coz LTA close liaoz...

 

 

its so........ troublesome..
