i disagree with you. you are supposed to let your piston , ring to be conditioned with different RPMs. the first 4/5-00clicks you run slow for the piston to be used to the block. the next you can drag constantly. just dont whack.

Next time if the fuel from the pump hose drips onto your tank, just used a tissue or something, and wipe it off fast.

 

Encountered this in several occasions, most of the time i manage to save it. But there was one occasion whereby the lanquer melts and it can be depressed after melting.

 

wah av siol send me too lol.basically this run in which is tot by mech and my mac frens who ride bikes longer than me,more experience in bike coz they have bigger bikes at home.

 

run-in for

-do not whack/rev above 6k for all gears dn care ur speed treat it like bike sick don't torture the piston[this is to ensure seasoning of the piston]

-run in for 500-1000 click best is 1000 click.

-u may ask the mech whether ur 2t jus nice for the run in a not

-after run in ask the mech do setting and change engine oil if necessary

-during run in u may tend to over the 6k as mention above but dn worry sometimes accidentally its ok but do nt drag for long sometimes its ok to rev abit but estimate ur reving i guess u wouldn't wan ur piston seize again

 

run-in for >200cc [everything almost the same]

-except for running in >1000 click

-no 2t unless u take 2 stroke bike

-best is go dynojet which i heard from my fren

Try this..If the petrol spill onto the tank and you do not have time to get water spit on it..It will neutralize the petrol so it will not "run" your paint..

2. I'm also thinking of removing the pair of pillion footrest brackets upon doing the single seater mould. Would it be possible? Cos the endcan is attached to the right pillion footrest bracket. Sigh. if i were to remove the pillion footrest brackets, where will the endcan be attached to?
