when i was taking my TP , the insurance also went up like mad.

 

heng when i got my bike it was lowered and i got some excess money for zhng-ing. XD

 

But my TP in 2 more days lor. And if I pass den the insurance lidat. Si bei saddening one.

Today I just call up NTUC and they quote me $888 for third party !!!!!

 

I was shocked sia.

 

Why they quote me so much. My fren oso 18 years old P plater but he bought his insurance from NTUC 2 months ago at $650...

 

Can anyone recommend me some cheaper alternative. I was prepare to pay $600+ for insurance but they quote way above my budget. Nearing $900.. =(

Haha my sp renew also 400 exact.. dunno leh think depends de la.. my friend renew RVF insurance 400 also.. then i wanna sub his RVF must pay another 180 sia.. nnb lol.

I wanna buy new suspension cuz my gazi suspension on my sp is super soft.

 

Now the insurance so high I wan oso buy cheapskate alr.

The insurance is there to cover ur arse..Imagine you bang someone and that someone dies, the family of the deceased claims from your insurance which usually includes future earnings or possible income that he/she might earn..And this kind of claims can balloon up to 100+k easily..

 

If you dun have a insurance for them to claim, you have the $$$ to pay them??

 

If the person is paralysed for life, court awards that person with 10 years of possible medical fees or expenses that the person is probably gonna incurred in the next 10 years, are you going to provide for that person for that 10 years??Obviously not right??

 

This is only part of the reason why insurance policy is required for driving/riding..

they said that the premium this year increase by 30% cuz of overall claim increase the last year. yea..pain in the wallet.

i had the same situation...my fren bought $650 frm NTUC last year..i had to pay $890 for 3rd party...

 

Btw,ani1 can suggest wat engine oil 2 change?...tat day,my engine oil turn white2 colour...suspect oil seal problem...bt if tats the case,usually all the oil will b white rite?...bt discovered only a fraction...my oil level glass cloudy and the cap for engine oil also got layer of white oil...smell like burnt smell...bt can still see goldish brown oil when the bike is vertical...any1 noe y?...wanna noe more abt troubleshooting my bike...
