That's why blipping of the throttle is invented but nt of much use on the road..

Hmm the prob is that only very few of the newer riders even know what is "blipping". And even fewer are curious enough to Google and serious enough to implement it as a riding style.

Worse still - if it's overdone ppl tend to think the guy is trying to jio race ... :giddy:

I used to use heavy engine braking that was harmful to the engine - until a mech scolded me for it and taught me the right technique :)

Simply put - "Blow N' Drop Gear" ... Like wat those lacers do to brake after they drag with someone on the road =X

As quoted from a very very old post that someone linked me ...

u got see ppl at dam drag? brake first.. drop gear le blow 1st.. before u let go ur clutch for engine braking.. not so xiong if got blow abit to rev up the rpm..

But a warning though - some or maybe I should say most new riders will think it's just trying to be aggressive ... =S

True but i do feel blipping on the street is overkill cos firstly, you dun really ride like a SBK or PG Trackie on the streets..

More of a 4 stroke higher cc thingy..To match the engine revolution against the rear wheel thus reducing chances of a lockup..

Google it... :p

Knowing someone as a online friend and knowing someone from the forum and meet up frequently with them..

That's the difference..His choice of word is over friendly + abit of salt cum Arrows...

i dunno 2ct got for 2b bikes a not leh ....

actually i think the newer generation will take bt

while the older generation swears by dunlop .

got.. kelvin using the michelin 2ct tire.. dunno wads the exact name ahh pilot power or something one

i stay yishun...tat day i went there go n watch my frenz play soccer...

i think i saw u at 417 ytd.. haha im the blue white pgm

got leh. 60-70km/h... so slow. i did faster b4.

nvr skid. fish tail abit only.

even on dry day also will fish tail, when u squeeze brake too hard.

engine brake jiak, but why would it cause u to skid????????

is u ZHAM brake too hard then will skid wad?

and obviously on a rainy day u are supposed to keep a distance between cars and not filtering/squeezing thru traffic wadddddddddddd.

woah.. chill mini !

wah sian.. i juz now corner right my exhaust pipes below tio scratch.. i juz corner with 60km/hr only at kovan there .. turning from bowling centre there to the punggol nasi lomak !

wa corner siao.. :thumb: *sekali is gantung ai chui liao*

anyone pls recommend me a gud n better eo(tested by u) other than castrol fully syn(using currently)..i wish to change to another fully syn brand so help me out..i've heard abt ows n motul, wat r e others?..name me a fully syn eo dat i wil nt regret using..thx!!

hmmm.. to me sp wad eo oso can one ahh lol.. heard 300v not bad .. haha but for me i used to use motul transoil or transoil expert.. better clutch response

Maxima Gearoil..

:thumb:

Gear oil also can use in SP. So no nid to worry. Some say it much more better to use gear den engine oil.

actually gearoil is meant for all 2 stroke wad.. as long as 2 stroke can use liao

That's why blipping of the throttle is invented but nt of much use on the road..

hmm.. it helps to extend a lil bit of ur chain lifespan and condition ah..

i feel that gear oil is better if use on normal road condition

but if u wanna wack wack , then use engine oil

some one pls correct me if i am wrong?

gear oil more watery ma... good clutch response but dun protect ur gears and bearings as well as engine oil does .. engine higher in viscousity(dunno how to spell) protects the gears and bearings more but cos of the thick oil the contact between the clutch plate and the pressure plate is not so 'jiak'

ah yea gear oil ard 3000 + km must change liao.. eo can use ard 5000 km

blipping?? wat is this sia?

whacking ur throttle a little when ur dropping gear for engine break so u do not feel the jerk of sudden engine break when u let go ur clutch and ur corner will be smoother this way.

Check both their Gearoil & Engine Oil SAE Viscosity..

And Gearoil are design to last longer than the typical engine oil..

I also dunno... Cuz i got use before gear oil and e.o
