...why everytime im ready to join an outing,bike give me problem...juz nw go teh tarik at yishun there,go there ok,going back,my bike couldn't start...the gt one R1 rider say maybe carb flooded...wait awhile,after countless times trying to start it...even push start also cannot...then can start...i happy already...then otw to dam,at traffic light,engine stall...push to pavement to kick and push start,also cannot...lucky gt fren..can help me...then called my brother,he came and open the bike,checking the bike..changed spark plug,can start...also happy already...then stall again...then repeat the starting process again and again,from 2+am until 5.30am...still same problem...anyone can help me?...my running in for the piston also haven finish...still gt 400-500km to go...and also my coolant keep spitting out the overflow tube...

hey guys, am having a problem with my bike, but quite hard for me to explain it throught the keyboard, so I would try my best. Haha.

 

Ok, whenever you guys engage into 1st gear and throttle and change to 2nd gear and so forth, the sound of your engine will be smooth right? Like have the same 'Vrooooooooooom' *engage2ndgear* 'vrooooooooooom' *engage3rd gear.

 

Mine would be like 'vroooooom chekchekchek' *engage2ndgear* 'vroooooom chekchekchek'..Haha!

 

It doesnt really make that 'chekchek' sound la, but you get the idea. It just doesnt sound smooth throughout the engagement to 2nd gear. Can this be the con-rod problem? Because my mech told me my conrod quite loose, cause can move side to side abit liao.

 

So if I change the conrod already, will the engine then sound smooth?

 

Plus, I was thinking of emptying my stomach, but afriad the sound would be like those krr noisy2 high pitched sound. Will my pipe sound that way if I empty the stomach?

 

Lastly, any suggestion on how to improve my acceleration and top speed without any 'potting' or meddling with the engineblock or piston or whatsoever that may damage the engine.

Cause I plan to put CDI, change my throttle to fast throttle, changing to super airfilter and emptying half or full stomach. Will this improve my acceleration and top speed?

actually its better to go check wat actually make that sound lor... don assume la... if u assume that conrod spoil then u go replace it.. replace le but still got sound u will sian half de..

the over flow tube i thought is petrol?

 

petrol is on the right if nt wrong...coolant is on the left,nearest to the side stand

 

Hmm.. If really ur valve not close or function not well, den try to check de power coil. like a small motor under fuel tank that connect to valve with cable. Once u throttle, the thing will turn de.. That thing very important de le.. take to mech lo.. cuz they should no better.. Gd luck..
