hi all, been riding my sp almsot 2 years. at first my FC was 250 before reserve, after many full services, the fc now sometimes can hit 200 b4 reserve, sometimes 180 - 190 den have to on reserve. Only mod was empty stomache done by previous owner. so would like to check with fellow members what size of jetting u all normally use for ur carb?

i understand that 252 is the main jet, i ever change to tat jetting b4 but still diff to hit 200 b4 reserve. from wad i noe sp fc should b able 2 hit at least 200 b4 reserve.

Haizzz... Just change new rear bearings (Old one, some bearing burst already) + 2nd hand Tyre Battlax + New Rear Brake Resevoir + OEM Decarbon Header....

 

Total spend $220.

 

Wanna ask if decarbon already, got noisy whistlisng sound isit? LIke u blow on a piece of aluminium.

 

the best decarbonise i did at jb petrolnas bike shop, the one bside kok seng.i feel the impact immediately. veri smooth, shiok. engine break u can hear ur exhaust got the pop pop sound not backfire. whistlising sound i dun realli remember

Hello fellow sp riders. I just got my sp on the 8th of march this year. Being new,

there are several questions I would like to ask. Hopefully I don't get flamed. =_=''

 

1. Lots of white smoke coming out. What should I do?

 

2. Whenever I tried to start my bike, it won't budge. I have to kick and throttle before my sp comes to life. Would that damage my spark plug?

 

Well, thats the 2 current question. Will post more when it comes into my mind. Sincerely thanks those who would post the answer here for me! (:

Hi..., Welcome.

 

1) White smoke must see properly, if kinda white blueish means normal. Very white smoke i tink is piston. White smoke will clear off after few 2-3 KM rides.

The 2T intake plays a part too.

 

2) The engine is cold. Try kickstart few times before turning ignition. I always kick 10 full cycle, then on ignition kick once start.

ans to ur question 3 -> YES ALL VEHICLES

 

ans to ur question 4 -> as sham mention in the above, after 2-3km the smoke will clear off liao, cos bike still slping, so need to get him warm up.. haha

probably he is using a racing footrest.. w/o spring to activate the brake switch..

even my dad tinks sp is a cool bike. lol
