I also kena once. My friend driving, ask me lead him to ATM machine. It's a small road wide enough for both of us to U-turn, so I proceed to make U-turn. By right, he should follow behind me & u-turn, but he moved straight! Heng the impact was small & it was only a stationery fall with no injuries. Only scratches to fairring & clutch lever break.

go rounding. my friend choing never see me hit my right leg thus fall on right side. arrrrrrrrrgh my fairring. i just fking polish... $$$ fly

I just got my SP it;s my very first bike.

Since most of you bros here have been riding longer then me i would like to get some tips and advise on the bike.

Here;s afew questions i have on my mind up till now but ofcourse if you can give me more tips i would be happy to take it all into my brain.

1) Do i have to let the bike warm up before riding,and if yes how long?

2) What kinda sproket to get if i wanna have a faster pick up.

3) If i install blue LED on my speedo meter isit illegal?

4) If i go across a hump at about 10-15km/h speed and my bike kinda like jumps alot, isit possible to get a harder suspension to

counter act this problem?

we were moving less then 30km/h! but just some distraaction for 1 seconds. My rear brake bent. my throttle grip bent, my 3 layer of my right fairing scratch. sian.

1: Untill you touch your pipe and it is hot, your all set to go. (thats my personal view of warming up.)

2: I suggest you stick with stock/default sporket you need both to be balance.. there is pros and cons.. and you will not like those "cons" on other side.

3: Must see what kind of LED, if you are saying putting LED infront of your meter or OUTSIDE your meter then it is illegal. But if you change the meter bulb to LED then that is fine. As i am using pure red now. Not much difference.

4: Suspension is not cheap, not worth to get a new one for SP.. never ever get a cheap suspension, you will bound to get cheated...

1. depends on individual , some dun even warm up , but since most sp riders treat the bike as a stepping stone ,my take is forget it

2. this wan u will learn as time passes , else u can read the whole sp thread. u will suddenly become very knowledgable (trust me)

3. if install inside your meter is not a problem

4. how it jumps ? if u change to harder suspension the rebound lesses but it become stifer, so it might jus hurt your balls right ?

Mine if I drag gears, 5-6rpm.. The ride not smooth Liao.

Like stuck stuck.. Need to either rev till 6 den change gear.

 

Or change gear before 5 rpm.

1.Warm up depends on you. Some finish one stick of cigarette and gets moving, while some juz kick start and go.

2.A stock sprocket lasts longer.

3.anything you mod is illegal, juz dun get caught.

4.check your suspension. might be due to wear and tear thus your suspension is failing.

It is true about exhaust dirty.

About the smoke is normal for 2 strokes... what 2T oil you are using. What brand.. And fully or semi sym? If you telling me you are using mobil or shell 2T... confirma lot of smoke...

my is fr , i have the cdi with no powercut , currently the one im using cant rev above 8rpm . but seriously sp is so old , no power cut = got power cut in wallet ..isnt it ?

If I remember correctly, FR or older SP no powercut.
