That's another insurance company. If you can, find someone older, preferably your dad who has a riding license to be the insurance holder aka owner of the bike and put your name as subrider. It will be alot cheaper.

 

Just a rough gauge, I am paying $426 for 3rd Party Fire & Theft (2nd Party) from NTUC Income under my dad's name.

that is ex..i'm paying $586(20% ncd) for TPFT under ntuc under my name..age 24 years old..and if u r wondering wat's my ride..pls see signature pic...

Don't think I have the NCD though. But that's roughly the price I see alot of 150cc sportsbike riders are getting, how did you get such a good price?

hi ppl... need help urgently....

 

juz now when i was on my way back home from work while stopping at traffic light my bike suddenly die off... i didnt do anything.. it juz automatic die off... den i kick start can start....

 

den...

 

after 30mins of ride out of expressway, my bike die off again at traffic light... tis time i tries kicking start cannot start... kick alot of time oso cannot... den i push my bike to de side.... i off de switch (ENGINE RUN & OFF) to OFF den click RUN back den try kick start den my bike can start liaoz... den i rode home, reach my car park, off my engine n kick start again... it can start.... test for 3-5times all de tries can start...

 

Last time i had done to my bike:

 

1. Usually use Mobil F1 Synergy Petrol... But wanna try CALTEX 97... so pump full tank... now inside my tank is CALTEX... but all de way till now no problem... petrol still can go 20-30km more... haven open reserve....

 

2. Spark Plug (DENSO) & Engine oil (ESSO GOLD) change when i brough my bike... WHich is 28/02/05...

 

3. FUll service done 1mth ago...

 

thats all...

 

any1 noe wad happen?? cos i scare 2molo cannot start more worst...

cant really pinpoint from ur description but did u off the choke?

 

i rem once and oni once when i pumped 97 last yr...after i ride for 3 mins bike die off at junction cannot start oni abt 20 mins later than can..but thereater tachometer needle keep falling

 

so i retuned my idling rev...juz try it...tune to 1.2...anyway not saying that clatex 97 is e cause

 

sparkplug by right can last 6k or more but as long as u din here it misfire it shld be fine since ur bike is already started and running

aiyoz... bike drop sure heart pain de... but got scracthes mahz?? when i juz brough my bike de 2nd day i go learnt corner den front tyre touch some mud i go apply de front brake my bike skid oso drop... while i stand n c... lucky drop at grass n was going slow speed so wasnt much scratches...

 

my advice 1st few week test out ur bike till u familiar 1st... ride slowly oso... cos u dunno how's ur braking distance, how to pass thru vehicle while at jam... etc... tis happen to me... so juz advice oni... hahaa...

most prob i think is ur choke... got e same problem b4... the choke at is close but at the other end is still open... may cause choke cable snap or mayb the other end jam den cannot close totally... i change my choke den no prob liaoz... sometime also might b idleing too low ba...

izzit?? hw much is to change 1?? ur problem totally same as me?? cos i scare change liaoz its not de choke problem.. den waste money liaoz... haha... cannot be my idling... mine is 1.2.....

mine was worst... i was ridding half way when e bike died... den push to side... cannot start.. off a while den on again den can start... not too long later den start can start liaoz... den go bike shop check den is the choke jam..

 

i might not be right but since it has a problem den bring go bike shop ask em check for u lo.. best way i think...

ur idling stabilises at 1.2 after warm up right...
