Maybe will go Planet to check the tuning when I decide to replace front disc, btw shld I decide to change the bike fairing hw much wld he charge for labour if I get him to change for me?

Air filter install will give slightly better mileage also decrease the power/speed of the bike.

So far some of the guys change their parts in JB no problem leh, can't comment much about their tuning though.

Actually it's the opposite.

 

For combustion to take place properly, the air/fuel mixture shld be at a certain ratio (e.g. 25:1, 50:1). When air filter is taken out, there's less resistance for air to flow into the air box therefore more air. To maintain the ratio, fuel will be adjusted accordingly thus increase petrol comsumption.

 

So when air filter is put back, save fuel. For mine, the different is abt 3km/L with and w/o air filter.

bgoy.. ytd when for my inspection... pass oso... haha... but b4 i go in i nv drag lehz... when dey try my bike i still c alot of white smoke... but dey didnt say anything... but the 2 guys whu check my bike look friendly... age ard early 20 oni... haha... still can ask me how much i brough it....

Some ppl asking how to post reply to a few posts at one shot.

 

MULTIPLE REPLIES IN A POST

1. Do a quote on the 1st post you wan to reply to

2. Type in your reply BUT do not hit add reply

3. Hit PREVIEW POST instead

4. You will see the preview and oso the text box containing both the quoted text and your text together. SELECT the whole block and CTRL-V (or right-click den copy)

5. Now press BACK on your IE or Firefox TWICE and you'll be back at the original page just before u hit the quote button in the first place

6. Do the same for the 2nd post you wan to reply to until the preview screen, now in the text box which contains the 2nd post and your reply to that post, PASTE your copied text into the textbox at the start of the text inside and leave 1 or 2 lines spacing inbetween the first and second block of text

7. If no more post to reply to, den hit ADD REPLY

END

 

8. If still more post to reply to, den repeat step 5 to 7

does the 1000 include insurance,road tax,transfer fees? if it doesn't, i tink 1500 oso not enough...

 

anyway u buying wat bike? first or second hand? second hand bikes mostly got problems...so be prepared to fork out some money for repairs...

then see how much u wanna down and how long u got to pay.. tats all.. if u ask.. 1 k can dwn a bike.. but 500 see how u got to use it liao..

 

around last month i bring a friend of mine to ASP at serangoon.. he got his FS plate SP for 3k include insurance and new road tax.. he just Dwn pay 800 nia..
