Can anyone explain to me what are the differences between these 3? In class 3, there is only an ignition: turn the key and the engine starts.

Why bike got 2 other components? Can the old bird pls guide me?

Also, when is the orange button below the throttle pressed?

Ignition is to turn on all the electricals on your bike. Starter button is to engage the starter motor to turn on the engine. Cut off switch is an emergency kill switch to kill your engine.

In cars, you have almost the same thing. When you turn your key to 'ON', that is to turn on everything in the car, aircon and such. When you turn the key to ignition, it starts the engine. Once the engine is started, you move your key back to 'ON'. Those more expensive, modern automatic cars will have a big round button that is the emergency kill switch.

kill switch ah?

in the event of a fall, you might want to flick this switch to 'off' to ensure the engine confirm shuts down. if you fall with the engine running, additional freak accidents on top of your fall may occur, such as part of your body/clothes get caught on the bike and the bike drags you down the road or round and round coz the engine continue running, or even the bike somehow uprighting itself and riding off on its own (seriously, bikes dont need a rider to balance upright).

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!
