so far kenda trakmaster is one of the best i had for offroad riding.

i tried vee rubber b4, dunlop 790 (was it 790? only rmb its the best in the dunlop line), so far trakmaster is one of the best for the value to dollar ratio.

and ALL offroad tires are suppose to be slippery on the road due to the knobs and the contact ratio.

if u r riding everyday, i recommend u to get a semi like pireilli mt21 or something to that extent.

i only ride my wr2 offroad, as its my side bike. thats y i can afford to put on a trakmaster.

do ur maths, and consider ur priorities, wat u wan, b4 u jump into an offroad tire.

i hope it helps my fellow wr2 mate =)

Afternoon guys. Recently my bike dies off whenever i give it a gas. It can be started and idles fine however dies off upon moving off or if i pull the throttle. Was told by my mech that the rectifier needed to be change. So after changing to a new one, the bike runs normally, but after parking it overnight the problem persist. Any inputs on this?

Posted

bro br125, chk ur carb.

setting / jetting / simple cleaning up of carb will do.

its usually the carb thats giving the problem, since the rectifier is out of the talk for now. =)

hope this helps

 proud owner of a wr2 too! and a proud mechanic on it also.

Hello

Am a new owner of a 2002 WR200 water cooled (is it 2 stroke or 4 stroke?), it was stored outside/undercover for the last 5 years. After much disassembly and cleaning I've got it running, but I don't know if the fuel is oil mixed (what ratio), oil injected (I don't see a oil injection tank) or neither. Also just forward of the kick starter is an oil filler cap, what is the oil and level in the gearbox. more ?'s to follow

My bad, the bike was given to me because it didn't run, so I didn't look at it to close, on closer look I see that I mistook the date 11/91 for 11/01.
