  • 2 weeks later...

But might not be powerful enough for the heavy bike. I'm riding 1st gen adiva and it's painfully slow. You'd want as much power for this kind of bike as you can get because the weight is going to slow acceleration and increase consumption. My FC is 20km/l which is quite lousy for scooters.

Scooter Tuning Is Not A Crime.

The 1st gen Adiva consumption is to the high side, the 2nd gen can archive 30km/l.

I'd booked the AD3, letting go my AD200. Anyone interested?

Congrats on the new ride :)

How long is the wait until the new ride arrives?

Can share how much it cost and which version you ordered?

Cheers

Haven't get my new ride yet. The stock might arrived by end of the month or next. When I booked last month, they still haven't approved by LTA yet. Machine price is 9.5k, it is about 13k OTR including insurance etc.

Any question regarding engine can pop by over to the Kymco Downtown thread to post question since AD3 and Downtown 300 share the same engine.

Does anyone know the weight of AD3? Couldn't find any info on it's weight.

This AD3 has more power (29.5hp 8000rpm) than the current Downtown 300 (27hp ~7700rpm).

The actual power of the engine can go up to 32hp. Due to emission standard, i guess it's been restricted to 29.5hp.

The Remus exhaust for Downtown can release another 2-3 horses. It seems only this particular Remus can release the potential of the engine.

The 300cc should not be a problem in pulling the weight. Should be a piece of cake. Of course cannot compare to 400cc lah.

Top speed for Downtown can hit 140km/h

Drink an average of ~27km/L or less although i'm getting 25km/L

Just sharing the similarities between this 2 bikes. Sorry if i cause any confusion :p

AD3 300i is using Kymco engine, but the 200cc which Mah bringing in is not sure what engine.

Just checked with them again, the bike will be arriving after CNY, probably in March :(.

Just for info, AD200, can achieve 30km/l, much more better then AD150 I rode previously, about 20km/l.

How does this AD3 balance itself at traffic stop lights? Need to put down legs or not?

Looks like a good vehicle for sinngapore as it gives shelter from sun and rain.

With the high car Coe.

This could be a next best alternative. If only the motorcycle Coe quota can be increased, so that the Coe price for bikes can be lower. There is no reasons to limit motorcycle Coe, as the road are NOT many motorcycles which contributed to traffic jams.
