i almost bought a bike from S1 too until they added all those paperwork fee,admin fee and agreement fees crap. at first calculate and say cheap and when i wanted to finalize the deal they added the "extra" charges and charged GST for the bike which like what bro LollyPoP said, 2nd hand bike no need to pay gst. then once i know i going to get carrot i just stood up and said that i do not have enough money for deposit and the guy even said "nevermind put your ic and reserve the bike first". i just said no and left and later found out that their interest is a whopping 7%.

 

Are you sure 2ndand no GST?? wat i know is, if the company is GST registered or whatever hire purcahse agreement company u used and they are GST registered, they are allowed to charge GST.. isnt it??? hmm.. can someone come out and verify?? thanks...

hhahaha..tsk tsk.. beware of what you post in the forum..dun directly say anything bad about these bad shops cause there are many spys and the shop BOSSES are looking at what you say about their shop everyday..because i posted about my bad experience about bla bla shop and someone PM me..and admit he is the boss of the shop and ask me go down the shop talk with him..know whats the result? i bought KR from him and he said if i want change bigger bikes he personally handle the sales..he will ensure the bike comes out in good and nice..good luck those buying from S1 motoring..AH ong is a damn "good" sales person.."good" caculation of bikes aftermath prices while throwing a smoke bomb in between the pricing.. now i know why their shop can do so big and sucessful cause of "superb" salesman like "him":)

I have a friend who bought a bike from s1 motoring. sign the papers and everything. Deposit some money. But them something happen and he is not able to downpay the amount that was expected from him agree with the shop. Now he wants to cancel the bike. is it possible?

Anyway the bike is not collected yet and currently out of stock. still waiting for the bike shop to process for him?

How do i do the cancellation? The papers are sign already but the bike still not collected.

Do need alot of advice on this thanks.

bro from what I know and understand yes you can but how much you have deposited will not be able to take back...and yes even if you have not collect the bike...its like if someone order something from you overseas and you have send out the item but he/she have not get the item, and want to cancel the order will you just return he/she the full sum that he/she have paid you?

Just did early settlement with S.1

 

Basically have to pay full amount of whatever's left of loan + early settlement penalty $800.

Which means you pay full remaining interest + $800 penalty. Not fair. Bike loan profit very high.

 

For car loan, there is this formula to calculate how much interest you pay if settle early. You don't pay all the interest and there's no penalty. This makes more sense.

 

In short, make sure you get them to list down early settlement fine prints before taking loan.
