Just get a pair of earplugs for under 10 bucks... any helmet will be silent.

HJC is very quiet at high speed, not the most cooling of helmet, but noise level is minimal i would say

April 2004 - June 2005 : Honda NSR150SP

 

June 2005 - August 2006 : Honda RVF400 NC35

 

August 2006 - Present : Yamaha YZF-R1

ok answer : there's no silent helmet, but HJC AC-10 got this velcro ear muffler in the helmet.

My bieffe not say as silent as the lamb lah....only that you can only hear the "slow whistle" of the wind....not blowing wind sound....like inside car like dat....

In the case of helmets, Silence and Air Flow are mutually exclusive.

 

 

Get a helmet with good airflow, expect high wind noise.

Get a "silent" helmet, expect it to be stuffy inside.

 

 

So from this, u can roughly gauge at a glance which helmet is gonna be noisy or quiet....

hmm interesting.....where can i find it? my arai is decent but will be nice to hv a quieter helmet. shoei hv not tried the higher range ones but the standard ones r heavy and sound wise oso ok

the top 2 high end brands would be arai and shoei, of this 2, comments from people wearing are that arai tends to be more noisy than arai, but arai has better ventilation and is lighter

sorry but the brand i am wearing is not in your poll.... :sweat: :sweat:

i am wearing a m.fizz evolution 2 half-face and in terms of silent i feel that that was the best helmet and my favourite helmet so far.....

 

i own a OGK aeroblade fullface but its damn noisy.... :sweat: :sweat:
