Oh... must pay upfront one ar... so you go counter throw rm30 then tell pump number... go back to pump and take the 95 nozzle loh... don ask... ask sure cannot one... haha

 

shawnlst: yes you are right... it applys to the registration plate and not the person... but what I did is that there is this once the attendant approach me but I fiercely ask him back in bahasa malayu that "I'm a Malaysian why cannot?!!!" Until now he didn't come near me liao...

 

Maybe it depends on which kiosk you go but so far me, I went to those Esso kiosks, just take the nozzle and pump full tank and proceed to counter to pay. Never pay upfront first. But I know Shell gotta pay upfront first.

 

MSDS, in fact the rule only applies to car and not bike. So just to play safe, don't ever ask if you can pump 95 or not. Just pay first and then pump whichever petrol grade you want...cheers

LOL! Nvm, I will try to pick up Johor's malay accent and speak like one. Hopefully, can la for my second try. Haha

Yesterday I just went in with my wife but driving lah... at johor before palangi the esso I also just park open fuel cap then put in red nozzle... the attendant look at me I also dun care... after that go counter pay again 2 dunhill... haha...

If he ask for your passport then you say loudly... "Kau ni ingat siapa?!!! nak tengol passport!" haha... joking lah... but be nice... if you know that he give chance then pass him RM1 or RM2 to him before you leave the kiosk loh... next time see you he also happy... but you calculate the saving... worth it mah...

update ok.. last time i tried at dat esso, they did nt activate the pump for me

Huh? they so bad ar? ... 2nd link esso lah...

 

the fingerprint didn't have any delaying effect lei... only some time they will ask you put both index finger there most of the time dun...

and put there also less than 5 sec ok liao...

Pumped 16.25L of Esso 95 @ Bapok Lane for only RM30!

Once I opened my fuel cap,the pump attendant looked @ me

and I just told him, "Merah pump"! He just passed me e pump!

I was like, "So steady ah"? :D

I saved about RM17 instead of RM50 for Esso 97.

The cashier @ the Esso Kiosk @ Pelangi Plaza is quite particular.

He will look @ u in a suspicious manner. Have observed that before.

A dark skinned guy with some white hair..

I tink he sports a moustache too..

Hi guys back to FC. Using petronas 95 seldom open vtec, mostly riding with pillion, speed wise around 90km/hr+- max. So far FC about 20km/l+-. Now change fuel to esso 95, will continue to monitor FC based on different brand. But I can see that petronas smoother than esso. Now using esso, my engine feels so rough!!

Using esso 95... this morning just checked... 290++km with 2 bars left... 340 shd be no problem... I frequent vtec but 80% highway lah...

Yah la bro! Petronas seems smoother! My bike feels heavy afta pumping Esso 95.

Saw someone posted saying that spc and petronas have the cleaniest fuel among other brand like esso, caltex, shell. That's why it's smoother than the rest. Never tried spc before, so no comment, too exp lar pump in sg... Hehe

SPC is smooth,bro! But I only patronise SPC when I was riding my Wave. =D
