I'm having the same problem also. Just bought my Spec 3 afew days ago. From shop straight away went to pump full tank. But when hit reserve, i notice i run only 220km. Jia latz. I'm running in my bike now. Will ask the mechanic when i send for 1st servicing. BTW, new bike how much mileage then must service? The bike shop told me, 1st service at 600km, 2nd service at 1200km and 3rd service at 2500. Is is correct? And when servicing, only change EO and spark plug? Anything else to change? Help me out guys, appreaciate it. Thanks! :help:

Guys..

Actually, besides the riding style.. The FC also depends on the route that you take & the average time you warm your bike up..

If you take the expressway most of the time, the FC will definitely be higher than taking a normal road with lots of traffic & traffic lights.. With the same riding style that is.. On a normal road, you'll need to stop & pick up speed again versus on the highway you can maintain speed for a longer distance..

If you warm your bike for 10 minutes per shot versus 5 minutes also makes a difference.. If start your bike 2 times per day (one to get to work & one back home), you're burning an extra 10 minutes of fuel idling.. Multiply that by a week, you actually burn an hour and 10 minutes of fuel which can be quite some savings..

Cheers bros..

u'll have higher FC when running in ur bike. cos engine not 'season' so FC will b higher. i'm sure it will get better after a few more runs.

as for how much of mileage do oil change, that i'm not sure... shd b 500km for the 1st, 1000km for the 2nd, 3000km for the 3rd, 5000km for subsequent rides with fully synthetic oil. can somebody verify this??
