true. tyre pressure, float needle etc etc will also affect ur FC. but most obvious is the constant flow of the throttle.

I'd rather get a Leo Vince than a Louis Vuitton.

Riding habits do play a part in bike petrol consumption

so normally 320-360 would means that your fc is ard 19-20km/l ar...that is ard the low range of super 4 ?

i would usually pump around +/- 17 litres

usually around +/-32 - 34 RM which is RM1.92 per litre

i usually go malaysia when reserve starts blinking

when the reserve starts blinking the safety distance u travel is between 50 - 60km if u based ur bike consumption at 18 - 21 km/litre

Reserve tank should be 3 litres if i am not wrong..

There is a lot of Super 4 on the road.

I am not saying about my spec 2 is one of the best ride.

my is a cheap ride, transport to point a to b

My personal views are:

Spec 3 are always better than Spec 2.

low range of s4? cannot say like dat one o_O

a lot of other things to consider than juz riding habits eg. rider's weight, whether got pillion frequently, pillion's weight, tyre pressure, atmospheric conditions (riding at night gives better fc than in d day), street/highway riding, carb setting n even type of petrol used if i'm not mistaken.. n d list goes on :giddy:

for me i tink 19-21km/l is quite alrite.. anytin LOWER is stil ok....... PROVIDED u tompang a baby elephant, rev ard d red limits for every gear for d whole full tank..! :faint:

U might want to take a look at those chopper type 2a bike which have a better FC as their engine normally rev at low rpm...

engine rpm plays the most important part in relating to fc in my POV. normal 1.6L car can get FC around 12 KM/L for normal driving (My frined's new Jazz get 18  ), imaging it's engine capacity 4 times a s4, weights 1.5t plus, yet it still get FC more than half of us, why? cos car's engine normally rev below 2k :cheeky:

yeah man.. if cars were revving at 6 or more rpm n cruising at 4-6rpm like most bikes do... then..... :faint:

just curious , issit possible to get the mech to tune back to ur previous settings after u do carb tuning lol..

I riding sp now and just did tuning my fc also become damn horrible leh.. scare the **** out of me. last time normally 24 to 25km/l then now suddenly drop to barely 20..

although the engine response and power is alot better at my low range now

The RR on my Fireblade represents "Race Replica"
