Help... having problem with Kips..

Hello all. When I am at gear 1 and I throttle up to 6-7RPM, there will be a "stuck" feeling instead of a sudden slurge of speed. It usually happens on the first two gears, gear 3 however, can open until 10k rpm. I dun whack anymore lah and even increased 2t intake before I meet with a jammed piston. What is the problem?

Erm for me only every morning there will be like "something stuck" ... i just trottle all the way in gear 1 till like 30km/h until it sounds smooth.(there will be quite abit of smoke) It will sound like something is trying to come out of the pipe.. then once i hear the clear sound without "something stuck " inside the bike, can ride normally liao.

If your bike is cold... Then u will feel such symptoms.. Try let ya bike warm up... Or you ride till your temperatur in between the blue and white line.. Then open throttle... Sure smooth till you hit red line...

Think when you stuck in a jam then the temp will go in between the blue and white..Otherwise it will remain at the bottom..

if all those above dont help.. suggest u go do servicing.. if not then go decarbonise your pipe.. after doing so .. u can feel the power coming.

Can hijack the thread? My bike after the accident..Now the engine very noisy..Dunno if engine or what..My friend say there's a possibility the pipe is leakin..Now my bike sound like my exhaust and belly is empty..Even louder than my friend whose bike uses an empty belly exhaust..

 

It runs fine..But the sound is very discomforting..With the lous some came abit more vibration than usual..Is it possible that after a hard impact that the conrod/bearings became loose or somethin? My only guess is that somethin like that might have happened during the collision..

 

Anyone?

try warming up atleast 2-3mins.. if in a hurry, wen moving off in gear 1, just whack throttle till 40-45kmh till theres no `stuck` feeling. donno if tis might ruin the engine

Comfused - Sorry to hear bout ur accident in Msia man. I had an accident and the bike behaved similarly to urs, F*****g loud sound, vibration and even worst, a loss of power as well. Did top overhaul and decarbonized. Try asking ard first b4 u decide to do something.

Bros.. does worn out piston rings contribute to this? If so, about how much to change?

i believe you should let a mech test yr bike and find out the problem for you

You want to whack whack must ask Peepot..He once told me there is a proper way to whack..But bein a person scared of speed I did not remember what he said..
