Trade in

Hi guys, I recently passed my 2a and I’m looking to trade in my 2b bike with a 2a bike. I still have about 2 more months of instalment then my current bike will be fully paid. Do I strictly have to trade in with my current shop or can I trade in with another shop? I’d really appreciate your help.

it all depends on the contract you signed for the instalment.

Usually after u fully paid, you can choose. But if within the tenure. contractual terms just have to follow.

@Minamoto How much is the installment? If not too much, can consider doing full settlement to keep it clean.

Otherwise, put a deposit for the new bike and wait 2 more months before your loan is cleared.

I reckon however, you *should* be able to trade in with loan outstanding, the new bike shop can reach out to the old bike shop to settle for you. Depending on the shop of course.

Current installment is 184, I did call and there’s a fee of 1.6 for early settlement so I guess I’ll just wait  I’m hoping to get a super4 spec 3. Thank you so much for your help!

I'd wait 2 months for that Super4 Spec 3. Awesome choice regardless. Are you getting a new or used bike?

Yes I’d rather just wait rather than spend that much money. Used one! Let’s hope there’ll be good deals by then
