I'm using a spreadsheet to check for 2nd hand bikes... right now it makes no sense for 2B, as the second hand bikes depreciation is more than new. Just that for new, it's the outlay..
If COE price falls, whoever buys 2nd hand bikes now.. will suffer big time going forward.

Today, if it was a test, immediate out.... on the S... 😐 more on that later.. of all things... my fav portion to add insult to injury.. ..

waaa.. still got spreadsheet sia.. power.. I only like them on carousel to view them later.. hahahaha..

COE did fall.. now 10.xk already.. hopefully it drop back to single digit k..

ok la... RV/RC is a way for you to brush up your skills.. so ok to do wrongly and etc.. 😛 & the instructors are 100% on the student side.. we pass, it look good to them on their centre.. so definitely a good way..

I think I should start my own thread on CL2 journey.. hahahaha...

I curious about this less than 1 year CL2 bike cheapest 2.xk .... What bike har ? Where did u see it ?

NC7 - COE ending in 2023.. 2.xk is left less then 2 months.. so unless I'm just buying it to ride up to Thailand.. or renew coe.. else cannot buy.. haha..

Ohhhh... passing rate so low? Btw, I went for my orientation and the instructors say.. luckily you all enrolled and you all better faster pass..when they finish the test, will start digital.. All stations already set up... 😮

The digital one is no mercy.. fail = fail..

yeah.. bike will be similar in the future.. but since we are required to know our test route.. they wun give instructions on left right and etc... but they will see when we cross the light, where we are positioned.. how we are positioned.. did we check our blind spots and etc.. there will be a "black box" at the rear of every motorcycle.. I saw that at CDC.. They say now already in trial/testing phrase.. and mostly will roll out by mid-end of this year..

1) Auto

2) indoor

3) simplify - not much points

4) Our points system I realised added alot of diff points factors compare to early 2021..

The instructor just say, from starting point to the first junction, there's 30 points stand by for us already.. 😂

Hmmm... 32 points deduction is their immediate failure since their passing marks is 70. While it seems easier, there are alot of immediate failures haha...

But not dealing with the clutch is great that's what makes it really tricky for most people, no salom, no figure 8s too... interesting. They can both legs touch the ground too! i keep wondering whats the big deal with right leg touching the ground when I was taking my 2B license... Then i realised now that by clutching in and holding the rear brake while maintaining gear 1. Keeps you alert when stopping at red light... Anything happens you can still move the bike and get out of trouble. putting to neutral means you can only throw the bike away and run hahaha...

Its also mentioned on their website they can can use scooter? maybe its their own bikes? seems nice.

Ya. But i dunno whether they pass the scooter test can ride normal bike with gears or not. If im not they can ride any bikes afterwards

Yes! They can use scooters! N its their own scooter! They can ride from their home to the center to take their test n if kena caught by traffic police for riding w/o license, they will still wish u good luck n hope u pass! I read comments on it b4 n the taiwanese says whoever uses the center's bike and pass are all hero cos the bike there is trash. 😂

During the orientation, the instructor tell me about this points that points.. sounded like ALOT of points has been added, blind spot check, incorrect positioning, incorrect changing lane, incorrect what.. last time is overall ok can pass.. I believe more and more points will be coming up..

32 points.. still alot more then ours.. our is 20? LOL..

definitely.. no clutch, both legs can be down.. down wrong leg = 4 points.. 😂

RC Session 11 Monday

Had a RC session yesterday and the weather forecast said that it would have raining yesterday afternoon. Left earlier for the session as now the school holidays are earlier and hence traffic was expected to be heavier. Glad to have done that as traffic was heavy with road works along the PIE.

Reached BBDC about 15 minutes before the lesson started and waited for the RC to commence.

Our IDs and app were checked and then the bike selection took place.

Told to choose the bike and yours truly said, “This bike can’t start – the kill switch was on” *hides in ground.

It was 2 instructors that was familiar and we started on the plank, pylon and e-brake.

The exercises were alright even though, wasn’t too comfortable on this bike – which essentially was a good thing as tried to practice like it was the test. So, the main issue was hitting neutral but still managed to complete the pylon.

Next, was the right turn, slope and then to the S-course and crank-course.

Quite nervous on the S and crank course purely on the fact that neutral might be engaged inadvertently.

Overall the session was pretty alright and was one of those which had to polish up on some areas that can be improved. The more sessions that are taken, the more weakness is identified.

Ended the RC with doing U-turns and it’s a good practice as on the road, there is one to be done.

The main thing now, is to ensure that second gear gets engaged each time for the crank / S-course.

:)

Good morning, I think you should go for 2A, as when you are "fresh", it's best to keep going at it..

Will have to kick up and ensure that it goes into "2". :) Still have a couple more of practices... and will keep on going for them. I've used a lot of weekends.

This week, I've gone for more as I am on a transition phase, so have some time to practice more. Next week onward.... just weekends, then the day itself.

hello alllll!

im finally at lesson 7 though i’m still weak in my gear 1 uturn 🥶

how to execute uturn in gear 1 safely? seems that maintaining half clutch to uturn is the way that’s being taught but it doesn’t feel smooth to handle imo.

old guards do y’all have any tips to improve uturn execution in gear 1?

Thanks!!!!!

Im still riding so still ok.. anyway i can inly take after jul.. probably will push it till end of the year

When u're on the move n accidentally went into neutral, if u r at the correct speed, faster kick up to gear 2. If not just down to gear 1, throttle then go gear 2.. if u're doing the stations... Then gg 😅

Try to u turn in gear 2. Normally can use gear 2 to u turn. U can keep half clutch while in gear 2 oso. If u're like the 1st rider then just have to u turn in gear 1.. gotta kiap the tank n lean the bike. Not too fast else u will wide turn.. if too fast, either brake or close throttle let it roll

ah yes i can actually execute uturn better in gear 2 and i let go of the clutch fully and focus on eyepoint! so when i’m in gear 1, do i maintain half clutch or should i just let go and throttle enough to navigate the uturn?

i can only hope not to be the 1st rider but of course it’s not always like this + real life road scenario have to ensure i’m ok to uturn in gear 1 also 🤣

thanks!!!
