Bike Scrapping, what parts can I keep and what parts do I have to surrender?

Hi there,

I've never scrapped a bike before and I have a malaysian buyer who is interested in my bike for spare parts to repair his own. Since he does not need COE in Malaysia, I was thinking scrapping the bike and then dismantling the parts for him to bring over by car would be the most cost efficient.

Does anyone know what parts I have to surrender to the scrapyard, and if the scrapyards will process my bike if I only surrender the minimum required items to them? I read some previous forum posts and I think I got the rough idea they need both the chassis and the engine or engine cover? Can anyone clarify if it's only the engine cover or the engine itself? I believe it will make a difference because the engine should consist of the important spare parts and if I had to scrap that the buyer wouldn't be interested. Thanks in advance =)
