someone bought his laptop at the last hr & he got a core 2 duo, 1 GB ram, 120GB HDD & discrete graphic card laptop for only 1.6K

not worth buying any pc/laptop at fair.

prices will drop after exhibit.

don't forget the rent at the exhibit r very expensive.

plus hiring lots of part timers sale persons.

all this cost will pass down to consumers.

all those free upgrades/packages r sale scams.

u will realise it if u always brought items during these events.

price drop? isn't tht norm in IT industry? i've been scouting ard for prices on laptop, so thts y i comment tht the earlier price is really worth it, a laptop with tht config can easily cost up to 2k or even more than tht. doesn't really look like a scam 2 me

Iz is a DDR2 ram, SATA harddisk, core 2 duo with 4Mb L2 cache

I bought a HP laptop.. Pavilion dv9202TX for 3400 plus...

 

the video ram provided is NVDIA 7200 256mb hypermemory...

 

I was shocked to see the same model on 16th March (a week later) at Suntec City offering a NVDIA 7600 (512mb dedicated Video Ram) for the same price..

 

Just 1 week and so big change... abit regret to buy then...

IT stuffs keep changing and prices and packages too..so either you research till you can't find any better bargain or you just find one reasonable one like yourself and myself then feel the pain later when you spot another bargain

It's expected. NVIDIA was to release the 7200 and 7600 on the same month but the 7600's release date was to be expected a week later than that of the 7200.

 

There's a lesson to be learnt here. Haiz...
