so bad, they dont sell the manual.

am I have to change the oil filter by every oil change

thanks brother.

hi 2b rider.....it is best 2 change d oil filter at every oil change...this is important as the oil filter is the only means of filtering unwanted dirt & any microscopic materials that is present in the use oil of d engine.......changing 2 new oil without changing d oil filter defeat the purpose of changing a new oil..... all 2gether.....yes u may have a new oil...on a dirty filter?.....it does not cost much 2 replace an oil filter....but it does cost a hefty sum 2 replace a pre mature worn parts on ur motorcycle engine.....just look at d color of ur use oil...and just what makes u think

that d oil filter won't get clog on?....it is better 2 throw some money now... than 2 waste more money later on bro........same goes 4 ur air filter...it is best 2 have it replace at service interval....as recomended by d engine manufacturer........

..........decided 2 do?.....then do it!.......2 do nothing is 2 get nothing..........

tks, for the the information. having one problem is I dont know when to replace the air filter leh,

because I dont have the manual, My last visit to the agent for servicing , the service man told

me the filter still can use one. but I will ask him to check again during my next serivce

service guy in CKA told me, air filter is much exe. than the oil filter, is it true?

heard that it cost around $50 - $60, but oil filter just cost few dollars.

Please take care brother. usually in the MSCP, the floor is slippery and therefore when water is introduce, its even more slippery. So take care when you are going up or down the MSCP.... safe riding... take care...

....hi 2b rider....changing of oil filter & air filter is best b refered 2 the 'owners manual'....only d manufacturer knows best when 2 replace/service certain parts on ur bike at certain interval......different manufacturer dictates different interval 4 servicing...it should b followed as closely as possible so as 2 minimise fair wear & tear.....if u don't have d 'owners manual' on ur bike (usually bundel up with ur tools on a small pouch under d seats or somewhere in d bike) u may want 2 follow this guide lines....please bear in mind..this is only a standard practice...........

.......for every 5,000 km.or less=change new oil + oil filter.......for every 10,000km. or less =change air filter......or for every 3 months..which ever come first.... (whether u keep in the garage/seldom use or use it everyday..it is advisable 2 have it replace.....engine oil in d engine will become acidic due 2 chemical reaction from d contamination of d burning of fuels in d engine)....of course if u use ur bike 2 run an errand day & night(heavy ussage)..have it service d soonest than recommended......

..........decided 2 do?.....then do it!.......2 do nothing is 2 get nothing..........

Hi, seniors.

It seems that for each 1 litre of petrol, I can only travel around 30 km wif my magma. Usually I travel at 90 km/hr on road.

Is this possible? Or is it an indication that something is wrong wif the engine? :giddy:

There is no leaking of oil. So what can be the problem?

Whenever u sits on a bike, think back of the ones u love.... Cause they would be waiting for u to start dinner.... Keep that in mind every minute on the road... You are to get back home safe n sound in one piece...Bless all riders on the road!

Information given not much but I reckon from your 30km a litre assume that you usually ride around street where traffic lights is uncommon. This explain why your fuel consumption is higher.

If not, you might want to give more information on your engine oil, spark plugs, air filter and oil filter change as per distance, riding habit and tire pressure. These are just some of the pieces and bits that contribute to your fuel consumption.

Thanks ^manowar^ and nights,

Yeah it's true my neighbourhoods have alot of traffic lights and I have to often stop and go. As for my pipe, it's not modified. I've just changed my engine oil, spark plug and oil filter. Now still waiting to see how far I can travel wif one full tank.

Does travelling above 90 km/hr for daelim magma drain more petrol?

hi growingup

abt the fuel consumption part, i believe that as long as your bike is in proper running order ( i.e. engine not roaring at 90km/hr but at a smooth running purr) fuel efficiency for mamga shld be at its best at 90km/hr :)

last week I went north, all the time full gas, speed around 100 - 115 km/h,

found that FC very high, traveled around 200Km then pump 7.5 L to topup the tank.

its about 26km/L, compare to normal road riding in Singapore 40km/h.

It proved, higher speed consume much more fuel.
