Guys, i'm considering getting a FZ1, will it be fine if i dont take it out for touring that often?? will its engine be under utilised?? mileage for FZ1 is around 17 -18 km/litre right??

The new FZ1's consumption depends very much on the rider... it can very from the 10km/L- 17km/L depending on your riding habits... Expect about 15km/L on average.

A litre class is definitely an overkill for riding locally... unless passion is driving you, get something that you like, not considered overkil...etc...

I'm passionate about bananas...are you???

Try this for givi:

Have seen 1 fz1 tat is installed wif H&B top box n one wif Givi top box .

IMO , the H&B one looks nicer on the FZ1 , the Givi one is mounted too high on the rear .

Hmm.. ok..:thumb: how is the maintenace like? every 5000km per servicing? engine oil and oil filter change? actually i'm quite torn between FZ1 and FZ6. I am more inclined towards FZ1 in terms of looks, however FZ6 seems like a cheaper to maintain alternative. :)

In my case , i change engine oil n oil filter every 3000km . Imo , servicing wise , 600 n 1000cc bike no difference .

Difference is higher cost to upkeep a 1000cc bike as rd tax, insurance n some parts like tyres will be more ex .

If u r in to long distance travelling , get the FZ1 , riding mostly on SG rds , get the 600 .

I bought my Junior 40L 2 days ago, able to fit 1 FF, but need some skills doing so. 100% can fit Open face.

Tricky part is getting used to having side panniers. Harder for u to go in between cars.

I dun think Mah bring in H&B. U can try M-technik, i had mine fixed there. Look for Chan

I might be Left Handed, But I'm Always RIGHT

DIY list

1. Volt Meter

2. Air Box Mod

3. Electric Horn

4. Dual Head Light

5. Removing of Mid Pipe's Cat

$120 is for 1 or 2 pairs?

How good is this compared to the OEM brake pads which gives superb braking, does not wear the disc and is affordable (less then $100).

Apparently sintered copper is harder then the OEM brake pads material composition, therefore running the risk or wearing the brake disc due to it being a harder compound even though it provides the maximum stopping power... Pls Explain...

I'm 26, bought mine at 13800+850= 14650.

So for 28, i assume its 13800 + 700 (should be around this price i guess for the insurance)= 14500

Hi Guys,

I lost my key (black) and would need to duplicate another one; most likely at Hong Leong, as my current bike shop is holding the other 2 keys (1 X black and 1 X red master key). I like to know the price of duplicating a another black key? And another thing is do i need the red master key to duplicate another black key? I can only do it at Hong Leong right; due to the fact that i need them to re-programme the key or i can do the re-programming on my bike itself? Any kind soul pls advise, Thanks.
