No offense to those who have this particular colour scheme, but it really looks very mis-matched sia. Black forks, silver engine, & the rims......Hmmmm..... :giddy: IMO huh. Dun be so sensitive huh.

Hi, guys,

Sorry to "gate-crash" the Fazer thread.

I am not sure whether I am right in posting this or not.

Do let me know if it is not right of me to do so. Thanks.

I will be looking at a maroon May 06 Fazer 1000 which one of the shops in Bukit Merah Lane may be bringing in next Tues.

Think the plate number is FBA 5**7.

Any comments or advice on what I should look for? It is fine if you PM me too.

Thanks.

Sorry if I have offended anyone unknowingly with my post here.

Thank you very much for your kind understanding.

most important thingy is to look for crackline, aftermarket welding on the main frame...it spells trouble and can cost you lotsa money and fustration

Hi people,

my tyres are wearing out and will need changing soon.

Any reccomendations?

My current ones are Bridgestone BT-014, not bad in the dry, not not so good when raining to me. Also, it wears out rather fast.

I am looking for high-wear tyres as my daily mileage is rather high. Not a corner maniac, just you average commuter.

Please advise.

Thanks! :)

Thanks for the replies people. :)

What's the price range like for the above tyres?

Actually, I had in mind the BT-021 or the Metzeler Z4 cos these seems to be the more common in use here, but both of which I've never used before yet. :|

More so for the Michelin.

I not into track, just using the bike for my daily commute and maybe touring in a few months. So what I need a a good all-round tyre which last long, giving me value for $$$. (I reach 5000km in 10 weeks.)

My Bt-014 sports tyre is so poorly utilised by the unsporty rider that only the centre is getting botak... :|

Also, is there a need to change both at the same time? Cos the front might still last a few months more. Cos if I does get a set, it will be abit cheaper and tyre balancing thrown in. Is it necessary? Cos I never did for my old bikes. :)

Please advise, thanks!

Red & silver engine is not the prob. But the rims col really off. At least the US model rims looks better + gold forks to match. The Euro/Asian model.........4 diff col combi, macham buy 4D got to do 24 permutations....:faint: :giddy:

Haha... mebbe I'll strike lottery then. :D

tried to find the pics for u but couldn't.... seems like the 08 colors not too frequented on google.
