Wish to ask if anyone had installed Remus revolution exhausts on the older Fazer 1000 before? On a 2002 fazer...the shop says it cant fix in properly, need to send to do some wielding first...just wondering will it still looks nice?

anyone has done it before? any pics? thanks alot!

Or are there any other aftermarket exhausts models that will fit perfectly with a UK 2002 fazer? anyone can advise?

 

Btw, is Yoshimura tri oval slip on street legal here?

actualli before revolution(hexa) theres another design call powercone...

Some say the reason they change to hexacone is becoz the powercone is no more on stock and motorworld trying to clear the powercone yrs back...only 5-10pc of powercone is exist in sg.

 

Some say tat when the powercone 1st lauch..it is an approved...but after tat the powercone is name to be illegal due to the sound n performance.And tats y hexacone is replaced.And those powercone tat had sold is consider legal as the new one has to be return/stop selling.

 

well...non matter wat...so long the pipe is gd n nice...juz appreaciate it.

 

For my personnal opinion...Powercone is definitely gd choice...with stylish GP design looks...n it nv fail me

Hmm...shouldnt aftermarket exhuast be a perfect fit? Take off the stock can and link pipe, plug in the aftermarket. Good to go.

 

I mean, if the exhaust is meant for, say the Fazer, there should not be any need for further welding/cutting to the bike itself.

Hi just wanna ask if any bro here has any idea where i can get the givi bracket that is supposed to be fixed arnd the exhaust. i bought the bracket from a fellow forumer but it didn't come with that piece. so i can't fix my bracket now.

 

And also is it true that the bracket can only fix for those with original pipe? coz mine is a gpr pipe. i'm not sure if the bracket can be fixed on. I really need to fix a box on fast coz it the rainy season. wanna keep my raincoat and stuff in it. Thanks in advance.

Precisely!!! if it cant fit then it could be:

1) not meant for that bike

2) pipe damage like drop so alignment out

 

now if welding or some cutting or modification is needed, shouldnt the seller bear the cost?

but if u are saying the side rack(side rack does not come with the holder), you got to buy it from any givi seller.

no problem with the gpr pipe

think the seller did not sell u the bracket cos it was trouble-some to remove

Yup that what i thought so too. but he says he doesn't have anything left with him. he said he didn't even fix on his bike before. this is for the rear rack. he said he bought it from motoworld. do you think they may sell it there or anywhere else to recommend that may have? just need the piece that surrounds the exhaust.
