Once Ur 27, do not have to worry much abt insurance.. Its definitely abt $600++ with more than 3yrs exp..

 

my main concern for big bikes is always insurance... only 23+ now....

yesterday i went HL ask mechanic kenny why my new fazer6 clutch so tight. He say all fazer 6 is like tat de . den he show me fazer1000 and FJR1300cc de all very easy to clutch in and hand no pain . He say fazser6 the design the clutch got many twist tied underneath it so is a bit tight de. he say once u get use to it den u find ok le...

I jst got my Fazer6 today.

 

Clutch feels ok and normal as many other class 2 bikes i hv riden. Not tight as you describe. Think you better change mech.

 

usually, if you turn the knob clockwise (away from you) the clutch should be softer and biting point is earlier.

better is to personally go down check with the shops...

wat is the cruising speed for fz6 also?

 

cos now i running in i alway remain constant at 80kmph but like drink a lot of petrol like tat . Cos now petrol left2 bar but travel only 200km nia, like very little leh.

relax....running in sure suck a lot of petrol.

1km: nearest gas station wont forget the pushing.

Reason for the surge in price is the exchange rate of Yen/SGD. Way too much to pay for a bike, if you ask me.

 

Say u pay 21K now, 5 years down the road you sell, you will lose more than half of basically what is a inflated price now.

 

And also, insurance went up already by another 10-24%, based on the latest news.

The sometimes repeated quote of 'buy first, think later' is best reserved for some rich man's son.

I prefer the new styles end cans of scorpion...n its loud judging from the youtube videos..

 

as for akra no doubt it will give the bike better performance.

 

but having said that i would still go for scorpion...looks better than akra=p

Original FZ1 07, Yuasa YTZ14S battery was bought $165 @ Southern Motor last Aug, including installation. No sure abt now.

 

Love LV GP style pipe, not sure if they are approve type.
