That the inner panel cover which to be mounted on top of the tank. The holding base for the inner panel onto the tank. That piece is a sh!t.... it makes me tighten & loosen a few times when installing my tank bra. It dropped into the internal of the bike.

When install, nvr push hard to get the postive thread turning feel, the rubber studs (screw) will pop into the cover & drop into the inners of the bike. If lucky, it only drop to places can be reached, suay day, you will need to torch light ard hope that it is within reach.

look, the bracket is the stock bracket within the package when you buy... it should have 4 brackets... so the mechanic from unique (xiao qiang) used 2 per side for added toughness... :thumb:

also, the horn is installed facing the radiator... so that in any case, water can't slip in easily and store there like reservoir...

hi fz1 owner.. was wondering is our headlight adjustable up or down?

There are 2 screws behind each light (FZ1S) It's a cross head screw & at the same time a Hex crown bolt, either turn by hex socket or by cross head (short) screw driver. (Left Light)One on the top right hand corner, one on the lower left corner. (Right Light) One on the top left hand corner, one on the lower right corner.

The top screws are for elevation trim of the light and lower screws are for lateral trimming.

I dare not over turn the screw worrying that it may drop out of the mounting threads.

Find a piece of plain white wall with your bike park straight (perpendicular to the wall) then adjust for best accurate setting you want.

Good Luck. :thumb:

Then the FZ is not for you. You want torque? KTM Duke and Triumph Speed triple will suit you better. My previous bike was Ktm 525exc motard. The torque is much more than the FZ.

Huh?What's wrong with you?Telling me that the FZ is not the bike for me?Did you fully understand my reply to you?Different riders have different preferences over some mods done to their bikes.Well fyi,I rode a motard too before switching to an FZ1N.Obviously you can't compare the power to weight ratio of the FZ to your KTM 525exc motard. They are 2 totally different bikes and these other 2 bikes you mentioned,KTM Duke(8v,75 Deg V-twin) & e Speed Triple(16v,DOHC,Inline Triple) both have different engine configurations overall and hence the huge torque output. Please read what I 1st posted and try to understand.Everybody's here to learn & share.

Let me state my intentions clearly.I'm not here to argue or quarrel with you but the way you put it is like I'm not happy with my bike.I was just asking around. You may share your views, experience, this & that but don't tell me things beyond that.I love my bike and I accept all advise from the new and experience riders in this forum.Pardon my words if it's offensive but the 1st line you replied ''Then the FZ is not for you'' was rather unhealthy.I am nobody to tell you that your words are wrong but I think it's healthy to maintain the harmony that has been in here all along.Peace.Ride safe everyone.

yah....to each of his own words can be sometime more owerful than actions...but as other says..misunderstanding is just a line different from the other.:)

Peace out,

racingter
