Hmm mine is at 103km/h @ 5k rpm constantly

I would still go for original. last longer without compromising a/f intake.

So,

my hand got itchy and decided to pop this thing open. Wasn't that hard. 3 allen key bolts and slide it down.Was not happy when I finally opened it up.One thick black gum of god knows what awaits me for cleaning

btw, anybody using ceramic brake pads? care to provide feedback?

i mean i wanna compare the price for original.

takes a little practice to get the hang of it...me i didnt do it on the 1st try with a class2 bike, it was on a yamaha LC 125 back in the early 90s...always cant seem to kick start that stewpig bike...after that i have since push start many bikes with this method.

ahh.. now I know who to look for if I need to pushstart my bike. Thanks Maxx!

Usually they will be there hang ard...Unless cancelled and the OKT will text all the cancellation. Not sure if they still practice this. They used to sms me but me so many times did not turn up I think the OKTs also heart cold liao. Wanted to go tonite, but sick now. Hahaha... Me will nvr do this stunt... me sure kena slap onto the bike and sleep with the bike on the floor...too fat to jump man.

Just run by the side and push then when you got the 'feel' let go your clutch with finger standby to disengage the clutch when the engine is started and the bike starts to surge fwd. Do it with care, if not the bike will drag you and run away then buang and crash.

Dun do it on the 1st gear as it's compression is too strong for many unless run super fast and super confident to control the bike. 2nd & 3rd is good liao.

DO IT WITH CARE! If not then tow it. Jump start it with some good samaritians car jump cables.

Considering the rear wheel stops spinning quite quickly. Guess only way of the method i mention is to spin the rear wheel with your right leg while standing on the left side of the bike, with your hand clutching in and engaging gear 1.

The speed that your leg can spin the rear wheel shouldn't be that much slower than the speed u can pedal the bike alone. Technically this method should work leh. And it should be easier than overcoming 200kg of inertia. If my battery ever dies on me then i try. Don't feel like trying funny things on a machine that isn't broken.

If you park on the 3rd floor of an MSCP, then use the down ramp to jump start your bike. Roll down and throw clutch b4 the bottom of the ramp.

ya this really helps... i pushed start my SP b4... 2 wks nvr ride cus go oversea... in the end cannot start... hahaha...

any body have this problem? today encounter after changing engine oil,bike seems to be under-powered @ first gear...keeps on jerking...rpm idling not consistent..sometimes normal ..after a while drop a lot...then normal again....(Last time dont have this problem)

Bengster, what oil you are using?

Rpm no consistent i am not too sure y. Maybe the oil flow or oil pressure bah. This i am new to it, may need to dig info or ask the masters.

But if you have used oil which is too 'Slippery' your clutch will have mild slippage effect when you starts to engage it. This is especially true to older ageing clutch system, where the contact surfaces have worn out.

I used ESSO GOLD fully syn to my old Slasher.... immediately 'soft', curse & swear.... Some oil may not be quite compatible to our requirement though not much harm will be done to the engine (subjective).

I like the smoothness of OWS oil when new, but after mileage corss 3000km, the oil seems to be detoriates, engagement of the clutch seems hard and engine sound starts to come.

Now i am trying the AGIP oil, not so up to my expextation la.... maybe i am too stringent to the requirement.

When you stop at junction, idling... does the engine suddenly die off?

Did you park in the rain last night?

Have you changed your plugs lately?

Do you think it's a TPS problem?

Do you have or plan to put panniers in future?
if yes ,go for short cans. (Arrow,leo vince,remus hex,etc)

For regular cans (Akrapovic,etc)

i am using the same oil as last time//motul 300 v leh..no changes..

yup change oil filter also...

i park everyday in the rain wherever it have...

and i didnt change plug leh...

Motul 300V have 40W and 50W. Heavier oil is thicker,flow slower when its cold,need longer time to warm it up.Engine idling rpm will decrease a bit.You will need to increase the idling.
