bros out there. just to enquire. recce few shops and spotted an OCT 07 FZ1S selling for 13k machine price. mileage 25k. hows the price? or u guys found any other shos around with 2nd hand fazer?

BMW coolant....

gt mine at Dilli Trading at Ubi....

per bttl is $20....

 

used it on my 12r b4...

very gd "cooling" abilities....

 

y nt when u turn off it off....

when u turn on bike it still off but u nid 2 press a switch inorder to "on" the vlotmeter....

tis way voltmeter will be more durable....

like wat i doing to mine nw...

 

dun tell mi the cheap fz1 is fr excel cycle....

seem they loved to offer very cheap & cut thorat prices lol....

or bike production...?

heng uh, i thought only my bike got this problem. I also encounter this "auto blackout" ...no idea whats the root cause

 

 

if you have all the electrical appliances on. it draw out current and voltage.

 

the black out is to help the motor starter to have all the power to start up the bike. if the voltage of the bike is less than 10V+/-1v, you cannot start up the bike.

 

starter use alot of power. lack of it, then u have to change battery, push start, or change rectifier.

most bikes now have the cut off system to transfer the power, eg. honda, kawa.....

will the additonal earthing or grounding wire help or solve the prob...?

i done a 5pt grounding.....

help but not solve...

Thank you. BTW i had heard of people said of BMW coolant is very good. Thought of changing to this coolant.

connection to the ignition gives you about the closest reading of the batt

 

i tap my voltmeter to my fuse box..

 

i used to do that by tapping to the ignition fuse, i now tap to the ignition as it is a neater and shorter run of wires

when everything is ON, my voltmeter is connected to the battery. Period... haha...

i oso have same prob ..lol

i did grounding help a bit....

wonder hw 2 solve the prob...?

tink most accurate voltmeter reading will be the mulit meter....

the current one we all using there always an inaccuracy ....

hw much mayb 0.5 to 1...hmmm

suicidal only if you dunno what you are doing, or what the mechanic is doing to the bike... haha...

 

Otherwise, 200 bucks solve the problem mah... its just how often you have spend the 200 bucks...

I guess after so much of changing of the cooling agents like engine oil, coolant, addictives....etc. There are minor or no improvement at all.

 

Ever thought of the CATs within our pipe/s is one of the culprits that heat up our machine? CAT require very high temp to work so to be effective to create user friendly gas after the raw exhaust gas passes through the CAT(info from my buddy's good knowledge). So to say, the engine need to have or created very high temperatured

gas the make the CAT work correctly. So to ask, is our engine designed to have such hi-temp in order to be 'WORLD FRIENDLIER'?

 

I got 2 CATs, i 'killed' one when changed my end can, not much improvement either. Perhaps when i 'kill' the next CAT in the mid-pipe then more effect will surface. CAT do choke up the flow of the exhaust gas hence create the poor flow of the unwanted hot gas within to out, but it's the engine creating the hot gas in the front so our gas is hot too. The heat source ~ engine, the output chokage ~ the exhaust pipe (CAT & butterfly valve). They designed these 2 solve some problems, but also make more heat problem.

anyone ever purchase Fazer 6 S2 side mirror/ attacth wif fearing de~? just kana langgar by 1 Malaysian bike tis morning... my right side mirror fly away while at traffic light junction!!!:cry: too late to chase as i wanna pick up back my side mirror~ never saw the number plate also ~ KNS!!! :mad:

 

how much does it cost? if not tml will check wif HL yamaha...

my bike only 2 months plus old... then this thing happen to my baby~ so poor thing... :cry::cry:

Sori to hear that. Can try calling Hong Leong to check out the price tml. If not chk if you can use any other aftermarket makes. Stock FZ1 1 side mirror cost abt $115 w/o gst.
