There're no mystery or super products out there.

Coolant, Engine Oil, Brake fluids.... they're more or less the same between the brands, if within the same grade group.

Using Motul 300V fully synth EO is not going to get your any more benefits than using Maxima Extra fully synth. They're both ester based oils and will offer the same protection n lube for your engine.

The only difference is in the marketing and packaging. I've switched between Motul, Maxima, Agip, etc.... doesn't feel a damned diff to me.

I guess after so much of changing of the cooling agents like engine oil, coolant, addictives....etc. There are minor or no improvement at all.

Ever thought of the CATs within our pipe/s is one of the culprits that heat up our machine? CAT require very high temp to work so to be effective to create user friendly gas after the raw exhaust gas passes through the CAT(info from my buddy's good knowledge). So to say, the engine need to have or created very high temperatured
gas the make the CAT work correctly. So to ask, is our engine designed to have such hi-temp in order to be 'WORLD FRIENDLIER'?

I got 2 CATs, i 'killed' one when changed my end can, not much improvement either. Perhaps when i 'kill' the next CAT in the mid-pipe then more effect will surface. CAT do choke up the flow of the exhaust gas hence create the poor flow of the unwanted hot gas within to out, but it's the engine creating the hot gas in the front so our gas is hot too. The heat source ~ engine, the output chokage ~ the exhaust pipe (CAT & butterfly valve). They designed these 2 solve some problems, but also make more heat problem.

My 2 centz only.

CAT operates at about 300 degrees Celsius. it is like making your bike cooler to harm the environment.

hmmm... bro, y u dun wan to tap ur voltmeter directly onto the battery ne? wad if u off your headlights? isn't it your voltmeter will be cut off?

Think i will be doing that when i go to the bike shop next time...

And i dont have a headlight switch, so cannot off my headlight and so my meter is always on..

haha..

And for the "Headlight going online and offline when starting", my mech from Unique said its no use doing ground...

But dont really agreed with wat he said... But did anyone did grounding for their gen 1??

And one know where to get the good grounding kit??

And how long do we need to change our rectifier??? And is it true that for "BIG" bike, we had to change the rectifier when we change the battery??

And for the "Headlight going online and offline when starting", my mech from Unique said its no use doing ground...

i personally feels that a headlight switch is quite essential... it will be v useful if you need to warm up ur bike but dun wan to waste extra electricity/fuel...

hmmm... our sir banana had mentioned in post #60759 that...

our meter cluster and headlights share the same power source, thus when you try to start the bike, the ECU will cut off that particular power so that the bike starts... This is the same effect if your headlight is on, you kill the engine and try to start again. The lighted headlight will be cut off, then on again.

hence, the purpose of grounding is not actually linked to the headlight off and on issue... i believe that grounding is mainly to prevent all those electric applications from current leakage and now allowing short circuit or even electrocuted.

human body when sweaty can reach as low as 300 ohms of resistance, by touching a live source, that could make you the completed circuit to ground, and electricity obviously passing through the heart may kill you.

A ground wire provides a much lesser path to ground so that electricity will take the easiest path or resistance without going through you.

rectifier... only change when your voltmeter tells u it's time to change... meaning it is not charging at certain rpms or above...
