wow check this guy's front olines! apparently i saw some of his pics at bikepics, he got front and rear olines and also this steering damper! that is a huge investment!

what are the types of steering damper in the market? ohlins, hyperpro, scott, stabilus, sprint, arrow, GPR, AMR, ceriani, jeep, blah blah blah... they all have the same objective right? inhibit an undesirable, uncontrolled movement or oscillation of a vehicle steering mechanism, a phenomenon known in the biking community as wobble or in extreme cases a tank-slapper... or is there some particular brands that are better than the latter?

The fork is from R6. not ohlins. Btw nice rizoma rearset and Z1000 mirrors

Speed sensitive control - As steering speed increases, the internal valving changes automatically to increase the damping effect. This results in a light, easy handling ride at low speeds while still keeping the heavy damping during extreme situations

Constant speed control - A traditional Linear style damper, mean it is working throughout the speed range.

You dun need to point with pointer la. Throw cash there and i will be pointed to that direction where you want me to go....buy markers and highlighter is a waste of cash.... throw cash is faster and more effective.

Steering dampers available in two types - (Active)Speed sensitive control or (Non-Active)Constant speed control..

Speed sensitive control - As steering speed increases, the internal valving changes automatically to increase the damping effect. This results in a light, easy handling ride at low speeds while still keeping the heavy damping during extreme situations

hence, the purpose of grounding is not actually linked to the headlight off and on issue... i believe that grounding is mainly to prevent all those electric applications from current leakage and now allowing short circuit or even electrocuted.

human body when sweaty can reach as low as 300 ohms of resistance, by touching a live source, that could make you the completed circuit to ground, and electricity obviously passing through the heart may kill you.

A ground wire provides a much lesser path to ground so that electricity will take the easiest path or resistance without going through you.

hmmm... bro, i suppose ur ride is a fz1 s1 right? if this is so, i'm sorry to say tht i dun really knows the pts for fz1 s1 just in case it is not the same as my fz6 s2. perhaps the seniors could advise?

Headlight off when firing up the bike is a built-in feature to concentrate all the batt juice to crank up the engine... not related to grounding.
