I'm using junior flash 30l since ur bike will be black i'll sugget u save up $50 & get the normal 1 will do.

 

As for rack if u like me who only will use box when touring than quick release rack can be a gd choice.

yup... i jus checked with kelvin when i was there for my servicing... but he said it will only be in roughly mid next month or end of next month... motoworld said end of this month or beginning of next month...

go get a elastic net! it really helps! i ever strap 2 boxes of moon cakes due not insufficient space in my 40L!

For my old bikes, I have stuck to the:

5000km: Fully Snythetic EO + Oil Filter

10, 000km: Fully Snythetic EO + Oil Filter

15,000km: Fully Snythetic EO + Oil Filter + Air Filter + Spark Plugs

 

I went online, and it seems the svc intervals for the FZ1 is stretched to 10,000km for EO, every 20,000km for the oil filter & plugs and every 40,000km for the Air Filter?

 

What are the service intervals you guys stick to?

Please advise.

I had a brief brow thru of the manual

 

it says for engine break in

0 - 1000km

Avoid prolonged operation above 6000rpm

after 1000km must change EO and oil filter

 

1000 - 1600km

avoid prolonged operation above 7200rpm

 

1600km and beyong

operate the behicle normally..

 

 

 

sheesh....never saw change mineral oil or when change to full syn etc.....

for mine, its 1000km, 3000km mineral oil, then 5000km change to fully syn n every 8000 change oil, btw for every oil change i will change oil filter

Air filter n plugs i change @ every 20000km
