Try Sato Racing or those after-market bling blings. Anyway if that kuku want to pour sand, he still can find his means. Best to cover your bike, no one see it direct and hence no direct itchy hands....

yo Bro..it's True..if ppl wanna lay thier "itchy" hands" on your bike...they still got away with it..unless u install an 24/7 hrs camera somewhere on your bike to keep track....haha...btw my bike 3.5 yrs old now...still dun have much chances to be covered under the "cosy" blanket...

fazer had seemed to take over Super4 as the workhorse in singapore . every bike shop you will see fazers being rolled out. on the road you don't see any FBD OR FBE super4 anymore.but you will see fazers sitting around everywhere especially the 600 ones.

cos the price is about the same.. revo so ex.. might as well get fz6 for those who have c2 license..

Hi Bros, i was checking out bike shops ytd for Fz6 and was quoted 12k+ without Insurance for a 2007 mfg Fz6S1 comes with freebies. I think a Fz6S2 cost around 14k+ without insurance from what i asked.

Ok here's the question for u mathematical gurus, whats ur take on this? Is the Fz6s1 worth considering at all assuming it has got poorer resale value for it being an older model but comes with 1k++ savings off the purchase. Or u guys would advise to get the S2 but im curious how much higher can a S2 fetch considering it the same registration date as an S1 leh?

Please help a maths tard~ Thks!

revo price is totally overkilll

agreed!

but do advise ur friends who r thinking abt FZ6..some shops are trying to push old stock but brand new S1 as the 2009 model.

i will remind myself too! but i will most likely buy a 2nd hand 1 if i commit. :cheeky:

Ned,

If I am not wrong,it's the rubber seal of those $5-10 L-shape valve that give way. It happened to Jason aka JKfazer before.

2007 S1? do check the manufacturing date.. I tot 06 onwards was already S2..

there are a lot of improvements between the 05 S1 and the 09 S2. IMO, get the S2.

err..but y u already talking abt re-sale ar? another rich man change bike every year?

S1 was designed in 2004, S2 in 2006-7.

I will say that S1 is a good bike but need some improvements, esp in the front brakes.S2 have that improvement.

In sense of money,S1 will of course have a lower value that S2.

Let's say, if now a S1 (04-06 model) rider wants to trade in or sell, I think the value will be abt 6-8K range.

If you dun intend to sell in off in 1-3 years time, then it's ok to get a S1.

I check Yamaha UK site before, when S2 first roll out S1 still available too. If I'm not wrong until 2008 then S1 is discontinued, now even worse FZ6 going to the history books... sianz 2 de max
