IMO , i think other than batt issues , the 06 FZ1 is a very gd bike . I should be keeping it when i clear the loan at the end of tis yr .

Question for fazer broz, at what mileage do u change ur chain & sprocket? Especially for a new bike

 

40K on the odometer?

 

 

for me..there;s no such thing as how many kms to change chain & sprocket,i change it 6 mths ago when there's clicking sound from the chain and even my mechanic says that it cannot be tighten and the sprocket is blunt,then it's time for me to change...i used my oem for 3 years before i changed it to supersprox...

Didn't realise that the stock chain and sprocket could last so long provided there is no hard riding of the bike

Dunno leh. I think there's only O and X Ring.

 

Other than that, there's the X-Wing, Y-Wing, A-Wing, B-Wing. But I prefer the Imperial Tie Fighter, I think.....

haha, what to do...like my stuff to be squeaky clean.....anyway not much hard work to clean the chain....GT85 degreases everything...use cloth to wipe the dirty oil...spray a coat of maxima chain lube...and my scottoiler will do the rest of the work...less than 5 mins job:thumb:

den everytime throw away a piece of cloth ah??? cos u degrease it and use ur cloth wipe it off ur cloth sure super hard to wash clean le leh...

Sian.... 2010 FZ1 will be coming on FEB or MARCH this year... My Hands very itchy liao... Just called hong leong and ask. Dunno wana wait for 2010 or just buy 2009 model from BP.

so hardworkin? in 2.5yrs I tighten twice, never degrease. just spray water when wash bike, put on mainstand, open up oiler to max. let it run a bit and finish
