- my miledge kinda low though is a 2 yr old bike liao.

- lately e fan had been activating kinda frequent, checked e coolant level & found dat its at e lower marking line liao.

For me, I change coolant and flush it once a year as do all my previous bikes...engine ice/water wetter like not much difference..cause the fz6 engine still hot even after change to these two...

If for normal street riding, go for PR2...overall reviews says it gives good mileage with decent grip on wet surfaces...am using one pair myself...now only 7000km for tyres.

 

if u like cornering, recommended to go for Pilot Power.....can corner all the way:angel:..but equals to faster wear and tear...

 

Pirelli, never try before....so cant advice

Any one has aftermarket rider and passenger pegs on this bike? Not looking to change the whole rearset, just the pegs. Other than Oberon, can't find anything else. Gen 1 rider peg is different, am I correct?

They don't ship direct to Singapore..... Had to sent to US add.. then shipped to S'pore via V-Post.

They've just came out with GPRv4 for FZ-1 quite recently. Meaning, you can't get it anywhere else for a cheaper price.

Got my piece for USD 495 + USD 10 for local shipping. Paid bout SGD120 to ship to S'pore with Insurance covered.

 

IMO.... money well spent..:thumb::thumb::thumb:

 

hmmm.. i am interested to get something from ebay actually but the problem is he only ships within US. :(

 

712 + 120 = 832 SGD.

 

ouch!

 

i found ebay got sell this GPRv4 stabilizer for SGD 749.08... hmmm...

my fz1 is 18.5k otr... now should be another 1k or 2k more liao if u going to order now cus fz8 is out liao for ard 16k-18k if i'm not wrong...

recommand u to flush and change ur stock coolant from day 1 or within the 1st month to either engine ice or maxima coolaide... both have good reviews...

do not let your coolant level to go any where near the lower mark... u will give exessive heat to your engine and will wear and tear faster...

for tires for street riding ONLY, u can go for PR2 can already... if u like corner, u can go for power... if u love more corners, u can go for pure... latest stuffs now...

my 2 cents... :)

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

there are rizoma pegs available... just the pegs alone...

maybe stock green coolant cannot make it?

 

cus stock coolant CMI lo... i'm still okay lei... i change it in 1 mth time... some folks ever change it at day 1... :lol:

not really la... if u lost control of ur bike, even superglue tires also can crash... :D

yes there is the 1 hour orientation on lesson for class 2 too. :angel:PEACE
