hi fz bros,

 

wanna ask u guys smth. i am deciding between a super 4 and a fz6. but now the thing that is making be undecided is the insurance. i at 21 going 22 end of this year. No NCD. so i wanna check out how much my premium would be.

class 2B : 27 November 2007

class 2A : 21 April 2009

class 2 : 21 October 2010

blue surfer its easier if u check with the shop get them to compare the prices for both bikes for you. ask them to state out all the things needed and the amount then get them to give u a OTR price for both bikes. from there you can compare then also read up on reviews for both bikes and see which one suits ur needs more. =) good luck hope that helps

wanna ask u guys smth. i am deciding between a super 4 and a fz6. but now the thing that is making be undecided is the insurance. i at 21 going 22 end of this year. No NCD. so i wanna check out how much my premium would be.

 

insurance should be about 1k for fz6 (less than 3 yr old bike) and 800 for s4 (more than 5 yr old bike). all else constant and no NCD. insurance is nv cheap for s4..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

i was talking to my friend about fz maintainence and he told me its the same if not a little more cos of super 4 160 tire and fz 180 tire. other than that all other maintainence is similar. but i feel that fz insurance would be more cos its a cls 2. but normally for normal pt A to B riding with occasional up north riding, how much is the maintainence every month? i have no idea at all.

fz6:

tyres: 400+-

EO: 3l

s4:

tyres: 300+-

EO: 4l

bro bluesurfer, r u looking for a 2nd hand fz6? cus there's no more 1st hand fz6 liao, fyi...

actually, insurance & maintenance wise is very subjective... we can't possibly tell you much on this cus everyone's insurance & maintenance are different...
