dropped the stock engine and fit a 04-06 r1 engine.. and refit all the mods back.. :angel:

 

hahaha... that is a very good idea...

but v weird... i never hear of this mod from any of the bros in here before but i hear it from my buddy before...

it is to replace the stock camshaft to alloy camshaft...

so if i dun change any performance mod i dun need to put PC. If I change the end can and mid pipe is better to put PC + tuning? :confused:

 

after tuning your bike will run smoother. even my stock bike install pc i can feel the throttle delivery smoother.

 

next week onwards can start jio me liao since u know where i stay... :D

fz1 will drink more petrol so it's no longer every Sat go in pump liao... o_O

 

if either one of us dry up, i push u, u push me... :lol:

 

wah.. will be super shag. i rather ride to kiosk buy for you and make u-turn. i use my leg and put on rvf foot peg to push before. and its only rvf.

It can be done by adjusting your CO2 mode by your bike meter. By pressing the buttons on the meter only.

But adjustment is very minimal, PC more fine tuning and accurate.

Past rides are already history....

Current ride: FW VFR 800 ABS

Perfect. Would be nicer if we left Ipoh at 8 instead of 9. Whole trip was mainly cloudy with 1 min of drizzle. Didn't get to test out my new DryMaster :cheeky:

btw, fz1 2010 model comes with a revised ECU mapping that will achieve improved throttle response in the low to mid-rpm range...

 

it means that this is just an improvement to the throttle response but it does not mean that it had fully rectify the response...

 

if we drill down to base, it could only means it had rectify most or part of it...

 

of cus if you have change any of those performance parts or done any performance mod, the mapping will no longer be valid as such mapping is build to stock only...

 

there is also no confirmation from nowhere and anywhere that this ECU will block any outsource tuning...

 

hence, i guess, unless you can find evidence to proof your theory, i'm sure the bros here will give you a all hail bow down...

heio bro, if ur 2nd rider is younger and/or less riding experience than you, u probably need to fork out more monie...

if your bike is still under hire purchase, some bike shop do requires u to go back to them for such process de...

i think u can check with them and/or ask them to do for u?

they will usually charge u a service fee if i'm not wrong...

 

 

 

 

hmmm... i jus tried to googled...

from the looks of it, all we need is to connect the speedohealer harness to the speedo sensor which is under the tank, then place the speedohealer box somewhere else that u like...

where u place ur speedohealer box? under ur seat or?

if can fit it under the seat, maybe i can relocate it to the servo motor area next time when my servo motor is gone...

for the push button harness, i think can connect it all the way to your handlebar or wad if the harness is of a certain length...

 

speaking of servo motor, i was thinking of doing a little plastic or acrylic or some blockage to close up the lobang...

have u thought of it before?

..mine's under my seat beside my PCV,but read somewhere you must mount it around >2.5cm away from the PCV. The push button harness is very long, i'm sure you can mount it on your handle bars if you want to..never thought of constructing a compartment at the old servo location..uummm new project??:)

oh... :sorry: to misread... it's more than 2.5cm, not less than 2.5cm...

hmmm... i may have just thought of a place that is quite suitable for that box which i once found a little spider was running out from my ex fz6 from that area...

but let me confirm that place again in fz1 and share wif u again base on the length of the harness etc etc etc... :D

lucky ur guys never join me... in the end i still went alone despite the rain and joined the ladies gathering in Melaka....

 

..one wet morning..took a ride there too for some sightseeing n left for sg at 3. Thankfully found a place at GP to wash my bike for 6 ringgat:pray:

any particular brand of headlight protectors to recommend? MW is selling Ventura brand. It says FZ1-S (06-08) dunno if it can fit v2010.

Yes,it can fit the '10. Accidently rode over it once and nothing happened to it..Real Hardcore material!
