well... everyone can be a rubber band... they opens a shop and u walks in to their shop to buy... so it's like 2 hands clapping... if u not happy wif the waiting, u can go other shops or find other sources right?

so how much more r u paying & when r u getting them?

Man, I'm so bummed right now.......aftnn after lunch couldn't start my bike....thought it was battery flat...had my bike towed all the way to bikeshop....replaced battery , was happy can start again but after that the mech checked the battery was not charging....checked the rectifier ok...then he opened the magnetic coil.....that's when the ball dropped....inside the magnets all broken and the coil was damaged.....just bought the bike 1 mth already spoil so jialat....i wonder if the prev owner knew abt this.....now pocket sure got hole.... need to replace the whole magnetic coil and magnets and clean the insides of the engine.....now in the meantime have to stick to bus and mrt.....so sianz....

it's expensive for the magneto coil... yatz had changed the coil + batt + rectifier b4 and if i'm not wrong, it cost him around $700 or so...

am i correct yatz?

btw, how did you make your throttle smooth eh ?

 

i am not sure if everyone encounter the same thing as me.....

 

at a low speed , when maintain throttle, u feel the engine is like intemittent fuel burning, dang i dono how to describe, you guys know wat i mean ?

the kind of low speed i am talking about is the speed to travel in the carpark, maybe like 20 or 20+ at gear 1 or 2.

Since it was almost 7pm just now, the spare parts shop close already, so they will advise me the actual cost tomorrow.......but i checked the parts prices online and it costs usd$402.25 for the rotor assembly and usd$260.62 for the stator assembly....so roughly abt sgd $1k i guess....

 

HI bro...my bike just failed on me too...Haiz...really hope that such thing wont happen and it still does....now im afraid that mine could also be magneto problem....Did the mechanic told u how he identified the magneto was the root cause....and so after fixing up, how could we possibly try to preveent the magneto from spoiling again....ARRGGGGHHHHH!!! Its so painful when the bike is down....:sian::sian:

dun ride the bike lo.. confirm wun spoil, only battery have no current after that..

 

usual maintainanece will solve most of the problems.. but sometimes, faults like this are hard to detect..

if you buy the wrong size tank bag, if it's big and ur hands r short, it will hinder your movements & if u have gadgets near the handlebar, it will block them...

a tail bag will not have this problem but u may experience difficulty climb onto your bike... a pair of long and sexy legs will help in this way...

 

no i have yet to buy any... this is for fantasy for me as of now...

today i spent a bomb already on my new angel...

i think these cosmetics mods will have to wait till the end of the year till my YEB & PB liao...

LOL quite interested in the rear tail bag, the strap can secure the cargo very well?

I does hope for YEB as well... probably nil haiz...

Just spray your key with some WD40 and repeatly jiggle it in, on, off, out.. it'll loosen the ignition up a bit..

 

I sprayed with GT85 ..but ultimately what solved the problem was to consciously pull my key down after inserting into the keyhole to go from "off" to "on". Was recommended by my friend.
